Being at place d’Italie location is absolutely fabulous with easy access to everywhere. There were maintenance problems. There was a problem with hot water and it was not fixed for more than 24 hours. One of the two elevators never worked. There was a planned power outage the day we were leaving.

Immediately we LOVED this cozy property, perfectly located in a shopping center with an IKEA! why is an IKEA important? affordable provisions for the apartment like an extra pan, or frozen foods at the same cost you're used to paying in your local IKEA. On Sunday there's a HUGE open market up the block where you can get fresh meat, produce, spices and extras. The Louvre and Notre Dame are a walkable distance away, but the train will get you there faster. The transit system is easy to negotiate. I can't say enough good things about this hotel and the location. My service dog was accepted without paying extra or presenting my medical records. I WILL be returning for the holidays and I've already recommended it to friends and family.

All good but the customer service rep did not let us check in even one hour early unless we signed up for their loyalty program. While it may be a hotel rule, it would have been nice if they would have been a little considerate to their guests paying hundreds for each night of their stay!

Was very happy with Citadine apartment! Went to near grocery store often and breakfast and packed our lunches in our room reducing our restaurant meals to once a day. Lots of restaurants nearby especially liked Jules crepery across the street! Metro and bus lines all so close made getting around paris easy! Loved Paris!

Great location - right next to the metro - however was overlooking a shopping centre and could get loud over the weekend. Pretty good property and was impressed with the size in the middle of paris

Transport links are great; lines 7 (pink) and 5 (green) are immediately in front of the hotel. It takes around 17 minutes to get to the Louvre stop from the hotel. Having the little kitchenette was very convenient; it saved us some money as we could have breakfast there - we just popped out to the local patisserie and had coffee and croissants in the room.

The room was poorly maintained and dark / gloomy. The only window was internal, facing into a shopping centre, with scaffolding up over it, so there was zero privacy without closing the curtain at all times. No cleaning, no replacement towels etc. Really disappointing. Fortunately, it is in a good location with nice restaurants around and a metro stop on the doorstep.

These were ok for a short stay but much less 'homely' than other Citadines we have stayed in. They were well located for public transport. The apartment was spacious, with a separate toilet and shower room. However the toilet room was so small and badly designed that when the door opened inwards it practically touched the toilet seat, which meant that you had to squeeze in and out of the room. I would imagine that for larger and less mobile people this could be an issue. The drinks machine for guests had limited options and no takeaway cups available unlike the previous Citadines we had stayed in in Kensington. We had to bring cups down 7 floors from our apartment to be able to use the coffee machine. On arrival there were no dishwasher tablets in the kitchenette. I asked at reception for 2 extra pillows for my daughters and was told we couldn't have any. I fed this back to Citadines and received a terse email with no apologies informing me dishwasher tablets were in the kitchen drawer (they weren't), and extra pills were available in the hallway cupboards (they weren't). I wouldn't choose to stay here again, the Citadines at Montmartre that we stayed in later in the week was much nicer.
