The hotel rated themselves 2 stars . I think it should be 3. Lovely staff, clean room, close to everything. Just a little dated but had a lovely parisienne theme.

I liked the hotel. Staff was polite & reserved. My room was cozy, very clean, quiet & comfortable. The hotel location was great for the activities I had planned for this trip. It was a nice find if you like boutique hotels.

Excellent location only 5 minutes walk from gare du nord plus metro station and approximately 10 minutes walk to sacre coeur location. Quite hot at night as no air conditioning but still slept well after all our excursions. Room was clean and very well presented. Breakfast was good, plenty of different choices for a continental breakfast. I would definitely stay there again.

Small but functional - good value.

Low-key welcome, small and precarious lift, narrow corridors and small rooms. But for the price and location, perfectly acceptable. Very clean and quiet despite looking over a busy road. The bathroom is pretty tiny.

Room booked was on 3rd or 4th level but lift was not working the day I arrived! Chap at reception changed me to First Floor which was much better, and he carried my luggage to my room. He ran a taxi for me the following morning which was appreciated,

Convenient and adequate.

Very convenient for the Gare du Nord and metro. Room size was OK but not generous. Shower good but no way of keeping the floor dry. Breakfast was good and the staff generally were helpful and friendly. No USB ports for charging phones. Simple bar served by receptionist.

We booked this hotel because of its proximity to Gare du Nord and the price point. It was an easy walk to the hotel from the station and we were able to store our luggage there until check in time. It is also just about a block from the Metro. The room was small, but clean. There is no A/C, but there are operable windows and a fan was in the room. We had a triple room and the beds were adequate, but the pillows were very flat. (We found extra pillows in the cupboard just when we were about to check out!) We did not access the breakfast option. Convenient location, good price, basic, clean hotel.

Staff was very courteous and professional. Room was decent size. WiFi bandwidth was top notch! Reason for 4 stars was shower was too small. Room was on side of Main Street so was very noisy ar all times. Through Expedia Inthougjt Ibwas supposed to get a welcome gift (bottles water), but they refused to give one to me and my guest. Finally, I thought that I prepaid for this accommodation, yet the hotel still charged my card for the 2 nights at checkout. I will be checking my card statement when I return home then deal with Expedia.

I only spent one night at this hotel. I think this hotel is great for short-term stay. They have an area where they will store the luggage for you and that's what I did for my last morning in Paris before my flight in the evening.

Maison du pré? More like Maison du pretty amazing!

The hotel was charming! It was in a super convenient location, if you’re getting the Eurostar I very much recommend! The rooms were cleaned daily, which was lovely and the staff were really helpful! I would say the only downsides would be that it can be a little noisy at night, not too bad but if you’re a very light sleeper then you may have an issue, also having to leave your key at reception when you go out can be a little odd. But overall a very pleasant stay! I would 100% stay here again

Quite less than expected

Too old. Scary and ancient elevator, no more than 2 people without bags. We had problems with the rooms, the key got stuck in the lock and we had to move to other room, quite bad and not prepared for us. For those (like me) with problems with dust, alergies, be careful, it will be tough.

Great location, clean hotel and friendly service.

Great little budget hotel in an excellent area. We are a couple travelling with our teenage son and booked a triple room. The room was very clean and spacious. We had breakfast (paid extra) on one morning and it was great. Hotel staff are friendly. Room was cleaned to a high standard everyday. Location is great - lots of good cafes, restaurants and bars within 5 or 10 minute walk and 5 minutes walk to Gare du Nord and other metro stations, so we could get all over Paris and beyond if we wished. The mattress was comfortable and clean, I asked for extra pillows and these were provided, the bed was comfortable then and I slept well. The decor in the room was old, but this didn't really matter to us as the room and hotel was clean and well maintained. I think for the price, this is an excellent choice for budget travellers and I would definitely stay here again. In fact, I am re-booking for a trip later this year.
