About this property

Romantic Chalet in the Forest

  • Our Chalet offers a large loft Bedroom with a queen bed. Beautiful views of the Mogollon Rim from the bed, and of the National Forest to the back. Downstairs bedroom has full bed. In the living room you will find a wonderful wood burning stove. The living room has incredible views from the cathedral like windows. Kitchen has everything except your food. Outdoor deck is very private with tall pine trees providing lovely shade. Our cabin is located at the very back of the lot right up to the National Forest. It is in a very private setting. If you are looking for a cozy couples retreat, we think you've found it! Note, the Century Link Internet out in the forest is spotty at times. Please don't expect it to work well, and after all it's not why we are up there!

The Chalet is really cute. Amazing windows and view. It's about 30 minutes outside Payson in tall pines. Super quiet. It's very comfortable and cozy. The deck is amazing and we took full advantage after the rain. All appliances worked well and plenty of utensils. The fire place was nice during the rain to make s'mores. The internet was having issues and Gabe was on top of it to contact the service provider. He's a good host. Took a minute to find it because the lot number wasn't posted but Gabe sent a good description and easy entry one we arrived. Be advised that T-Mobile has almost no service but Verizon had 3 bars. I'd def consider staying again, especially with no kiddo next time.

Super cute cabin and very easy to get into. Close to hiking trails - about 30 mins north of central Payson. Quiet and secluded. Loved the patio and surrounding forest views. Well stocked kitchen for cooking. Heating and hot water was available for cooler evenings.

We really enjoyed our stay at this cozy little cabin in the woods. The scenery from the big front windows is beautiful. And it is minutes from Washington Park if youre looking to do some hiking.

We absolutely loved this chalet! The host Gabriel was very responsive and provided fantastic directions to the property and we appreciated his recommendations for things to do and see in the area. The property was quiet and peaceful nestled in the woods and we really enjoyed sitting out on the deck for our morning teas. The interior was very clean and the kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed to cook meals. The large picture windows at the front of the house are absolutely beautiful and we felt so cozy with the real wood fireplace burning in the evenings. We are so in love with this chalet and had such a great experience from start to finish – we can't wait to stay there again!
