My husband and I were extremely satisfied with our stay at The Penguin Hotel. We arrived mid morning and were greeted by a wonderful person at the front desk. We knew our room would not be ready that early and fully expected to have to wait until the afternoon. The person at the front desk gave us great service. She showed us where we could change, offered us storage for our luggage, gave us towels and chairs for the beach and even gave us a map of the area. She also took our phone number and said that she would call once our room was ready. She did call, and when we got back to the hotel we headed up to our room which was clean and very nice. The hotel is located right on the beach and we would recommend this hotel to anyone looking to stay on South Beach.

I absolutely loved my stay at the Iberostar Waves Berkeley Shore! From the moment we arrived, the service exceeded all expectations. The hotel is modern, clean, and perfectly located near the beach, restaurants, and all the best parts of South Beach. A special shoutout to Abdullah—he was truly amazing. He was warm, welcoming, and went above and beyond to make us feel at home. Every interaction with him was genuine, and he made our stay feel extra comfortable and memorable. The rooftop pool was peaceful, the rooms were spotless, and the beach service was a huge bonus. Overall, our experience was lovely, and I would absolutely stay here again. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Miami!

Beautiful property, great location, very secure, and attentive staff!

it doesn’t feel like a 5 star property. Our room was connected to some other room through a door and it was loud and clear whatever we talk in one room to another room. No bathroom slippers or rugs were provided. There was no refrigerator to keep your own stuff. pools were good and beach access were good. Restaurants were not so great but super expensive. Service charges were added at each and every place if you buy something to drink or eat.
