"The hotel is a little dated and could use a refresh but it’s clean and otherwise well kept. The front desk staff were all super helpful and friendly. We really enjoyed the morning breakfast service, the added specialty coffees were a nice bonus!! The morning breakfast team were very helpful and attentive. Self service for toast, bagels or cereal but other food was served cafeteria style. Really appreciated this as it helps to reduce waste and the spread of germs! Liked the location as it was a short easy drive to get to many places like the Halifax downtown area as well as Lunenburg, Wolfville, Truro area. Would stay again"

"Very clean and comfortable room. Beautiful place and view, very quiet. Close to restaurants, grocery and Peggy's Cove. Unfortunately, our room #11 wasn't connecting to the Wi-Fi (other rooms seemed ok) so we couldn't watch TV. The manager kept repeating it was out of their control but didn't offer anything to compensate this lack of convenience :( So make sure you get what you pay for..."

"We came for Lunenberg & stayed for Heckman’s Island!!! We chose to spend more time at this serene cottage/home on a beautiful, quiet cove than sightseeing around the area - that’s how much my husband & I loved this home/cottage. Many spots to sit outside & take in nature. Our host, Frank was very responsive & thoughtful. Leaving this Cottage on the Cove hoping one day to come back. Thank you very much Frank & Family!!"
