"The highlight to me was the staff - attentive, accommodating, friendly and enthusiastically helpful, despite my lack of fluency in Portuguese. and varying degrees of fluency in English on their part. "Chuiba Bay Lodge is beautiful hidden pearl by rhe beach 20 min. drive from Pemba Airport. Great accomodation with great service and great cartering. The owners Mrs. Maria and Mr. Domingos was very welcoming and helpful and made my 3 days stay a pleasure!"

"There was no airport pickup, swimming pool, or nearby beach, and the wifi would come and go, but the apartment was large, clean and comfortable, and the owner's daughter (who is soon to be the chef when the restaurant opens) is delightful."
