A beautiful historic Canadian home with lovely antique furnishings.
The hosts and Bella were very welcoming.
Our room was so very private with a very comfortable bed
fireplace, and an en-suite bathroom.
The breakfast served was delicious.
We definitely recommend Grey Gables for a beautiful, unique, quiet, convenient and welcoming place to stay!
Exceptional property! Great location.
Wonderful . A bit misleading. It did not include breakfast . A $5 coupon was applied , which is fine but please state this in the description. 😊

First Time and Last Time
The room was spacious enough. The bath tub was not in use due to a drain problem yet the sink water followed the same drain line that allegedly dripped into the kitchen below??? The TV set so that the window AC flow was partially blocked. That window with the AC provided no privacy just a choice AC or privacy. The clock was glued to the night stand as if someone who can afford to stay there needs to steal a freaking clock. Right!
Nice to have the Dinning room and a Pub on site. The Inn was well decorated with antiques and modern touch. Very friendly and helpful staff. The food in the dining room was outstanding.
The building was beautiful with the old/antique look to it.
The room was nice, only thing was the air conditioner was a little loud.
Overall, had a great experience and would highly recommend.
Excellent food.
Our room was unacceptable. Bed too small and very uncomfortable and it was mouldy
But then other rooms may have been ok but Expedia lied to us about our booking, so I will never book through Expedia or any other booking platform again!! And I will now unsubscribe from Expedia as well.
I was charged for bed and breskfast, but on arrival told, no breakfast; that was a mistake. Also no coffee or tea facilities in room or indeed anywhere on premises. Had to go to Tim Horton's. Absolutely no soundproofing. Could hear conversations in the next room and their television, as well as phone calls in check in. House is lovely and the room was nice, but i had calked ahead and asked for a room with a bath and got only a shower. For over $230 a night i expected better.
This charming, quaint B&B provides the right touch of personal care and privacy. We spent a couple of nights in the Princess Grace room and we just started to relax from the moment we arrived. The bathroom included a deep soaker tub and a large shower with a rainfall shower head. It is difficult to describe the beautiful room but the king size four poster bed was dwarfed by the size of the room. Multiple windows and a beautiful bay window looked out on the expansive lawns and floral gardens surrounding the building. At night, the lights on the gazebo patios, a lighted iron carriage etc added to the ambiance.
The nicest surprise was the Oak Door restaurant, which is truly fine dining. Our server, Kevin, was extremely professional, helpful and knowledgeable about the menu. We even met Chef Evan, who not only prepared the nicest Filet my husband claims to have ever eaten, he butchers the meat for the restaurant as well. Many of the vegetables and all of the herbs are grown on the property for the meals. Breakfasts were also delicious and unique and we never waited for food or drinks at any of our meals. The service was impeccable.
I do not usually write such glowing reviews, but Grey Gables deserve it. I did not expect to find such a nice place in Pembroke, Ontario but it exceeded many of my high end B&B experiences at Niagara-on-the-Lake!
We will definitely be back!

Insgesamt also stimmig.
Wonderful 3 night stay. The owner and all of the staff were great, the food was incredible and the entire stay was perfection. They know how to do customer service right and the place is stunning.
The Inn is lovely, wonderful room and bathroom, our dinner was very good, but we were surprised that they don’t offer breakfast. It was hot out so the air conditioning was welcome but noisy.
Beautiful old hotel - rooms were gorgeous - staff was very friendly and so accommodating. Only negative - no elevator, can not accommodate wheelchairs.
