Great location and perfect size!

We were coming in for a two night weekend getaway. The spot was perfect and absolutely loved opening my bedroom window each morning to hear the waves. Thankful for the beach chairs and umbrella in the closet that we could use as well!

Condo was great except for...

The description for the condo was pretty accurate. It was clean, right on the beach, and the furnishing were nice! The washer and dryer did not work that great, had to run the dryer several times on one load to get dry. My only complaint is that there was remodeling construction going on in all the units surrounding us. The listing did not say anything about construction nor were we informed of any construction when we checked in. It was very loud and disruptive and started very early in the morning and went until dark. I did message the rental company through VRBO about this but received no response.

So-so experience

Good news: The view was amazing, the room was clean and spacious! Bad news: When going to the office to pick up the keys at check-in I was told to wait outside with no explanation-assumed it was due to COVID. There was only one customer in the building, we were more than 6 feet apart and I was wearing a mask. When I finally had my turn, while assisting me they allowed another customer to enter, come within 2 feet of me and pick up keys-Hate to bring up race, but I am Black and everyone else was white, so you be the judge! I later learned only one customer allowed in the building at a time, however they pick and choose when to enforce it! Minor room issues now that my trip is over-dryer requires several cycles before completely drying, not enough towels/wash cloths, dishwasher didn’t work properly, no beach chairs/umbrellas as stated in the materials!

40th wedding anniversary vacation

From the parking lot into the unit, we were impressed. Everything was pristine, and the decor was stunning, adding an air of elegance to the unit. Access to the beach was great and used often ~ the beach was also very well-maintained. We will be back!

Location

Description of the property was on point. However i wish they had a passcode key instead of an actual key which can be lost easily. Also i wish they had a no smoking policy. Neighbors upstairs of us didn’t even let us enjoy the balcony because it was one smoke after the other. Overall though location of the place and parking was excellent.

The condo was clean and nice. Loved the view. Probably the glass kitchen table top (not ideal for a one year old that his parents usually use a clip on booster chair to the table which wasn’t safe to do) as well as ideal height for a one year old to hit their head. Lots of breakables within his reach so we child proofed it. This has to do with having a 1 year old not the condos fault. Kids running up and down the stairs to other units was loud (biggest dissatisfier). The office management was very responsive.

Would Definitely Come Back

The property was nice, and it had a gorgeous view of the beach. The only negative I can say is you have to get a physical key from the management company. There wasn’t a digital lock on the condo’s front door. Regardless, we’d definitely come back and stay at this condo in the future.

The property was smaller and wore down more than we expected, but otherwise everything was as described. Excellent location, super close to town but out of the main hustle and bustle. Beautiful views of the sunset and sunrises! Loved the umbrellas and beach chairs provided within the condo.

Mostly good but some negatives

Should install key code lock on door so you don’t have to use a key. Would be nice not to have to stop by office to pickup and drop off key. Need bar height chairs for balcony due to the type of railing and unable to have good view of ocean in low chairs. Iron did not work and it even stayed that on the box. However, they did bring us one promptly after we called.
