"My bed mattress was so soft that I woke up next day with a very serious back pain. Not good when a week of golf is following your stay at this prestigious hotel. I ask them to correct it , and they did changed the mattress promptly. Nevertheless , such a high rated hotel ( and high cost one) should not accept from their staff a badly used mattress to the point where it is ruined down. Another détail: you flush the toilet, yet it does not eliminate the paper still floating after 2-3 flushes. Hum….."

"Friendly and helpful staff. They will help you with luggage to and from your transport service (car service). Car cannot drive to fromt door but if you call the riad they will help tell driver where to go and meet you to help with luggage to riad. Very safe while close to the outdoor market. And great spa services!"

"The riad is lovely and well kept. The room is nice and comfortable. Very good breakfast with local staples (msemen, batbout, amlou, Berber omelet). At check-in, Eriko took the time to share the map of the city with her personalized recommendations. A couple of days before, she reached out to check if I needed airport transportation which I thought was a nice touch. Great location in the north of the Medina, very close to the taxi drop middle school (collège) Mohamed V. I liked the nearby shops more than the ones in the souk. "

"Riad Karmela at heart of medina, run by a team full of heart Eager to escape the end of the harsh British winter and keen for some early spring sunshine, we opted to go to Marrakech for a week. We picked this Riad because of its location and aesthetic and it did not disappoint. Situated in the Azbezt area of the medina, it is a few minutes’ walk from all the hustle and bustle of the souks and is excellent for all your needs as a tourist in the city. It is close to most of the main attractions and no more than 10-15 minutes walk from excellent restaurants. We took advantage of the transfers arranged by the hotel which was an excellent idea, as they bring you as close to the hotel as is physically possible. Walking down the narrow street to the fairy lit tunnel entrance, you enter the hotel and find an absolute oasis of peace and quiet. The riad is beautifully decorated in a traditional style, with several small courtyards that guests can rest in and shelter from the sun and the city. The roof of the hotel has many chairs and loungers for people who wish to worship the sun. The rooms were brilliantly furnished, with great facilities. The bed was amazingly comfortable with wonderful pillows we wish we could have kept! The breakfast every day was an excellent buffet, with an enormous range of tasty treats and delights on offer, including a wide range of hot and cold drinks. "We had a wonderful stay - From the moment we arrived, Murad at reception made us feel incredibly welcome. He went above and beyond to help us settle in, recommending great places to visit, assisting us in finding a hammam, and suggesting excellent restaurants. The breakfast each morning was delicious with a great and fresh, and the property itself is absolutely beautiful—well-maintained, comfortable, and inviting. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and Murad’s hospitality truly made our stay even more special. Highly recommended"
