My boyfriend and I stayed at hotel baretta for 3 nights and it was a great experience. The hotel is in an amazing location in Varenna; 3 minutes from the train station, and 1-2 minutes from the lake. The hotel itself is older but room was clean and no issues. I would 100% stay here again and I would recommend to my family and friends!

Very nice stay in Varenna! Great staff! We loved the location . Easy to get to the restaurants, lake , ferry and train. Nice little restaurant on first floor with a wonderful breakfast selection. Varenna was beautiful !

Room was excellent and the air conditioning was amazing. The room was amazingly dark and quiet at night and great view out the window during the day. The bag storage was a minor bit troublesome as it seemed like the restaurant staff didn’t enjoy sorting this out for us, but not the most annoying. The location was very convenient to the train station and a small walk (10 mins) to the main town.

I have to first start saying that Matteo, was very resourceful and helpful. When I we arrived one of our rooms was super stinky, 😭 I mean smell awful. Once I communicated with the staff (by Whatsapp) he was able to change our room. The hotel is very convenient located to the train station and the ferry. Other than that.. great stay

We love that our room had a balcony. The hotel staff were very helpful. The restaurant is independent and the staff there is not so friendly. We would stay there again. Plus, you can walk to the train station and the lake easily. We recommend!

Hotel Beretta is in an ideal location in Varenna. Easy access to the ferries and the train. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast was excellent with a large variety of options. Some rooms have balconies that have beautiful lake views. There is a great restaurant on the ground floor as well.
