"The hotel is very clean and in a good location. No frills, which is expected for the price I paid. The rooms are comfortable and well appointed, there are restaurants and coffee shops directly outside for convenience. It is very walkable to the major sites of Bilbao. Would stay again, if I were to return to the city."

"So disappointed with our very expensive room with terrace. Bilbao is wonderful and the view from the room was spectacular but there were lots of little details that let the experience down; there was a cigarette burn on a cushion on the terrace chair, another large burn mark on the bathroom sink surround (hot hair tongs?), the planting on the terrace was looking very sad and eaten by bugs, a raucous party on first night in the room next door, scraping sounds of furniture from 6am which were from the breakfast terrace directly above. It’s not what we expected from a 5 star hotel and certainly not for the price. "

"Amazing stay. Hotel is in such a Central location but in a nice quiet street. Staff were super friendly and helpful at all times. Room was fabulous and shower was brilliant. Everything was top Class and would highly recommend."

"As a single traveler I found the hotel sufficient. Single room I had was on the smaller size even though the bathroom was spacious. My room was facing the back of the building so no view what so ever. The highlight was the breakfast at the hotel. Quite a good spread including good coffee and tea. The taxi to the hotel from the airport was 31 euro and took 25 minutes. there is a taxi stand right across the road and the entrance to the metro is 1 minute walk. Pintxos are everywhere which I loved. Overall good hotel in a great location."

"We didn't get to stay here. Missed a train so we missed check in by a day. Our room Was gone for the 2nd day. Had to find another hotel on the fly"

"Disappointing- we arrived after the common check-in time and the room wasn’t available. No offer to leave our luggage so we would be able to explore the city. The far in advance provided request of a second duvet, hasn’t been processed and required a reminder. The TV had his on mind and turned on every few minutes also through the night. Informing the staff didn’t change the situation- so we disconnected the television from the plug ourselves. Opening hours of the sauna is too short - only till 20:00. unfortunately not the quality and service i would expected from a five star hotel"
