  • Set on the slopes of Bredon Hill in a truly idyllic and tranquil location, Field Cottage is a picture-book stone thatched cottage with many period features.

Enjoying beautiful views, the chance to spot deer and other varied wildlife, and surrounded by superb walking country, it is situated on the edge of the charming village of Elmley Castle in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. A peaceful and perfect haven for relaxation and an ideal holiday location for exploring the unspoilt beauty of Worcestershire and the Cotswolds.

Within the main cottage, all four guests can enjoy the cosy sitting room with wood burning stove, charming kitchen and dining area complete with a gas range cooker. On the first floor is a double bedroom and spacious bathroom with roll top bath and shower. Just a few steps away, the superbly presented and comfortable Garden Room sleeps a further two guests in a choice of either twin beds or a super-king size double. The Garden Room also features its own stunning en-suite shower room with underfloor heating. With two outside seating areas to enjoy the far reaching, enviable views in this quiet and private spot.

The pretty village of Elmley Castle has a pub within walking distance. The nearby riverside market towns of Pershore and Evesham are both a short drive away, providing a selection of mainstream and independent retailers, a theatre and local festivals. Elmley Castle is less than 10 miles from beautiful Broadway, often referred to as the 'Jewel of the Cotswolds', packed with independent traders, tea rooms, pubs, shops, art galleries and restaurants. Broadway Tower, situated on Broadway Hill, is the second highest point in the Cotswolds and offers panoramic views and rural country walks.

Thanks Lisa

It is a wonderful cottage and grounds. Perfectly idilic. Quiet perfection of a thatched cottage in the most enjoyable part of the Cotswolds. Walks abound from your front door and wild blackberries surround you. Short walk to a wonderful local pub.
