Perfect for a stay in the Alps

We enjoyed 4 days in the German Alps, one of the top experiences to enjoy in Europe. Hotel is close to the biggest attractions in the area, plenty of good restaurants nearby. It is well run by hardworking, lovely people. Situated next to the road you hear traffic passing.

Good hotel in Pfronten. Easy parking, unfortunately no restaurant or lounge with service, but a room with a fridge and drinks to purchase. Breakfast is good with a good variety of foods. Rooms are clean and nice.

The addition of the guest room was a nice touch. Games and tables available. Additionally drinks could be purchased for a reasonable price on an honesty system. Expedia allowed us to book after hours and we were almost unable to access the hotel. The owner was kind and explained about closing time. Expedia should not have allowed the booking after hours. The only reason we got in is because the owner lives at this site!

Peaceful stay in a gorgeous area

We were lucky Fussen had no vacancies so we ventured out to Pfrontener Hof and were happy we did. The next-door ski lift up the mountain made for a great day of hiking and views. Dinner options in Pfrontener were also good and easy to get a table. If you are looking for a quiet place with great views away from crowds, I'd suggest you try here.

War okay, aber nicht nochmal

Bei meiner Ankunft wurde ich freundlich empfangen. Das Zimmer war relativ modern eingerichtet, zumindest das Bett und die Duschen waren relativ neu. Das ganze hat aber nicht zu den anderen sachen gepasst wie z.B den verstaubten Wandlampen die dort schon, so wie Sie aussehen, vor 60 Jahren gehangen haben. Der Balkon war in Ordnung eine Sitzmöglichkeit war vorhanden und der Ausblick war schön allerdings waren an der Außenwand und unter dem Dach, also genau unter dem Balkon, sehe viele und große Spinnenweben

Sehr gutes Frühstück und freundliches Personal. Zimmer sind klein aber gut, Betten sehr angenehm. Das Frühstück ist besser als erwartet und eine sehr gute Auswahl. Die Lage ist praktisch leider Abends kein Restaurant. Verschiedene Fremdsprachen werden gesprochen, ist nicht alles 24 besetzt trotzdem gut organisiert.

Die Unterkunft Pfrontener Hof ist auf jeden Fall zu empfehlen. Ein einfaches Hotel direkt neben der Breitenbergbahn. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilft sehr schnell weiter. Es gibt eine große Auswahl beim Frühstück. Leider hat es kein Restaurant/Bar mehr. Es gibt allerdings einen Raum mit gekühlten Getränken. Darunter zum Beispiel Bier für 3 €. Das nächste Restaurant (Pizzeria) ist ca. 500 m entfernt. Wir kommen wieder sobald wir wieder in dieser Region sind!

Es ist merklich dass das Hotel einmal bessere Zeiten erlebt hat. Aufbackbrötchen zum Frühstück sind bei der Presikategorie unangebracht.

Gutes Hotel, gute Lage, sehr guter Service

Unterkunft ist leicht zu finden, Einchecken auch ausserhalb der Rezeptionszeiten problemlos durch Schlüsselbox, schönes Zimmer mit Balkon und Aussicht auf Berge. Älteres Hotel, aber Zimmereinrichtung grösstenteils sehr hochwertig und recht neu. Servicepersonal super freundlich, aufmerksam, immer hilfsbereit und kompetent. Optimale Lage der Unterkunft (am Ortsrand), um schnell zu den Ausflugsorten in der Gegend, in verschiedenen Richtungen, zu kommen. Eine Kabinenseilbahn ist in direkter Nachbarschaft, Betrieb ist aber im Hotel nicht störend. - Bahnhof-Haltestelle fast gleich gegenüber (Regionalbahn, sehr leise).

...hat die beste Zeit hinter sich....

Leider müssen wir uns den vorherigen Bewertungen anschließen: muffiger Geruch + abgewohntes Mobiliar im gesamten Gebäude. Freundliche Mitarbeiter, die jedoch gleich beim betreten der Rezeption am Anreisetag mit der Rechnung winken - das geht in anderen Häusern definitiv etwas entspannter vor sich.... Frühstück eher im unteren Durchschnitt für eine Touristenregion. In Summe leider maximal nur für ein Wochenendaufenthalt zu empfehlen.Die schöne Umgebung läßt jedoch etwas leichter über die genannten Umstände hinwegsehen.

Gemütliche Unterkunft!

Wir fanden es hier super! Ganz liebes Personal und zuvorkommend. Zimmer mit Balkon (glaube alle, zumindest unseres) :) Klar, ist kein Neubau, aber dafür super gemütlich! Ich finde, hier hat man alles, was man braucht, Bergbahn vor der Tür, Bahnhof Pfronten Steinach ebenso! kommen gerne wieder

Gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis in einfachem Hotel

Wir hatten im Juni für ein verlängertes Wochenende als Paar ein Doppelzimmer im 2. Obergeschoss. Wir waren insgesamt sehr zufrieden. Ab dem Haus konnten wir direkt zum Wandern aufbrechen. Die Mitarbeiter waren alle freundlich und hilfsbereit.

Auf den Bildern im Internet sieht alles toll aus. Fakt ist, dass eine Renovierung nötig wäre. Auch die Sauberkeit lässt sehr zu wünschen übrig. Ich persönlich kann diese Unterkunft auf keinen Fall weiterempfehlen.

Die Lage ist gut, liegt direkt neben der Bergstation Breitenberg. Das Hotel ist schon etwas älter und in die Jahre gekommen aber sehr sauber. Beim Frühstück ist alles da was das Herz begehrt. Ansonsten haben wir die Küche nicht getestet. Alle sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. nicht getestet.
