"I had a very pleasant stay overall. The customer service was excellent, the location was outstanding, and the housekeeping team did a great job. One of the best features of this hotel is its location—you can literally walk straight from the property to the beach. I was initially planning to give the hotel 4 stars, but the friendliness and professionalism of the staff, along with the unbeatable location, convinced me to give it 5 stars. There are a couple of areas that could be improved. First, the hotel should provide washcloths (small towels) for guests to use when washing. Second, there was a noticeable musty/mold-like odor in certain areas, especially in the elevator. Other than those minor issues, everything was great, and I enjoyed my stay. I would definitely consider staying here again."

"Love the staff in Sunwing Kamala Beach resort. They are friendly and super nice. Their food are excellent with lots of varieties. Guest relation Raenelyn was amazing gave us information on top resturants around the beach and where to get a legit Thai massage. In Some kitchen, staff LetLet, Lovi, and Alyssa were very accommodating and made us feel at home."

"A fabulous stay here - looked good on paper when we booked, in reality it was even better. Beautifully designed, privacy, excellent use of space. Exceptional hosts/staff and communications, from even before check in. The only drawbacks to consider are distance from shops/restaurants - 12 to 18 mins depending on pace - but the complex provides free shuttle to the local beach/town, and we never had to wait even 5 minutes. And the owners need to keep on top of small signs of wear and tear such as toilet seats, doors, cupboards, damage to outdoor sofa cushions, but right now they are very minor imperfections."

"I didn’t want to leave, we had a private pool that was maintained regularly, wifi as soon as we arrived, the Villa was spotless and so clean. The lobby staff were the loveliest, they went above and beyond. The shuttle bus drivers were so efficient and always on time. The five of us on the trip all said we would stay here again in a heartbeat "

"This is a great butique hotel with a decent location. Not beachfront but 2 minutes away from Kamala beach. Your room is huge. Love the kitchen area with fridge freezer. Staff are excellent. Our air conditioning wasn't working in the living area and it was fixed straight away. The bar area and check in are the same. The layout feels a little odd and not conducive to wanting to go down to sit there to have a drink. It feels like there is nowhere to sit and no tables to rest your drinks. The photos give a different impression of the bar.it feels like a missed revenue opportunity for the hotel. On the subject of missed revenue opportunities, whilst we were in the pool, we were never asked if we wanted a drink. Especially as they offer free ice cream between 2-4 pm and there are families taking advantage of this. Travelling as a family this place is excellent and I would absolutely come back if I get the chance. "
