The room was clean. The all day and night freshly brewed coffee was great. I paid extra for a river view, which was excellent. But it was the noisiest hotel we have ever stayed at. There are 2 trains that run across the Benjamin Franklin bridge 24 hours a day that sounded like jets taking off at all hours which made sleeping next to impossible. I'm not sure if there is a quiet room in the hotel. Definitely not on the river view side of the building.

Although a very good location in terms of being walkable to downtown Philadelphia, the road noise from Interstate 95 and Columbus Boulevard, is noticeable, even during night hours. Apart from that, a very clean hotel - well maintained, modern and comfortable.

My stay at the Holiday Inn Express was wonderful. The staff was friendly and answered any questioned I had. The room was clean and bed was comfortable. Breakfast was warm and delicious, with several items to chose from. It was walkable to everything I wanted to see while visiting Philadelphia. The river view was the icing on the cake. I would definitely stay again if I'm in the area. I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a great affordable hotel.

What I loved was it was a pier right across the street. Went to sit and relax. Buffet style breakfast was wonderful!! Energy was impeccable. Definitely gonna stay here any time I’m here visiting my son at Temple University!! Thank you for a wonderful stay!!

Parking wasn't a big deal, not a lot of space in the lot, but at least parking was available. Staff at the desk was nothing short of amazing. I had accidentally booked a handicapped accessible room and the staff member asked if I needed that room. I said no, so he put me in another room, which turned out to be a riverfront view!! The view of the Benjamin Franklin bridge at night and Camden riverfront is well worth the price of the hotel room. The entire facility was very neat and clean- much better than many places I have stayed at. I was headed to The Fillmore for a concert, which was only about a 15 minute walk. I'm sure other locations of Downtown Philly are within walking distance, also.

The staff was nice and relocated us after not being able to get our a/c fixed. Overall good staff with helpful staff. There was one staff, however that seemed not very happy to be there or help, all others were great. Room was clean and breakfast was good as well. A/c didn't get the room cold in first room but was moved to a different room that worked.

Our was very clean and had a great view of the Benjamin Franklin Bridge! The complementary breakfast was also very nice to have and always had fresh food to eat. The front doors were always locked so we felt safe
