We had a wonderful stay at the Philadelphia Marriott Old City as part of our Valentine’s celebration weekend. The location is perfect—close to great restaurants and historic attractions. Staff was friendly, rooms are clean. No free breakfast. The first night an alarm went off twice telling us to vacate immediately. Seems the drinkers in the lobby were having fun. I would have expected a discount on my 3 night stay invoice for the interruptions.

Our stay was perfect. The hotel has a really nice common space, the bar has good food too. Their breakfast buffet was ok ($25), but this hotel is just a couple of blocks away from a lot of great restaurants and bars. You technically don’t need a car if you’re willing to do some walking or even uber around for longer distances. We parked our car and never used it again. Parking is $55 per day. Overall, great hotel, and centrally located.
