Pool oasis

Our stay at this property was great! The pool is what we loved the most as well as the theater room. The beds are comfortable and the host is very responsive to any needs.

Family get away

It was an hot summer over 110 everyday but we didn't even notice because we spent the entire time in the pool. This is a great house if you have kids.

Boys Golf Weekend

Resort Backyard

We had a great stay with our teens. We’ve been coming to Scottsdale the last 10 years and this was one of our favorites. The backyard was amazing, we didn’t want to leave. We loved the location and layout of the house. Quick drive to all the good food and shopping in Scottsdale but you can escape back to the large private backyard oasis.

Pool stay for birthday

Local group wanted a private pool to celebrate a birthday. House was clean and everything was as highlighted in the listing. It was 110+ degrees the weekend we were there but the pool was refreshing and had some shade.

Perfect vacation house

The house is the perfect size for a big crowd. It’s very spacious so no one is crammed for space. The backyard is beautiful and very relaxing. The only issue I had was the cleanliness in the master bedroom. Other than that it was a great experience.

Great property for a familiy vacation

This property was great, wonderful pool area and backyard and nice open kitchen/living area. There was an issue with the water the first few days, the cold had an issue so it was burning hot but it got fixed. The house was mostly re-modeled but the master bath was still old. There are a few repairs needed you could tell were just patched back but for a few day stay it was great!

Perfect Family Trip

We had the best time here! Two families with a total of 8 kids ages 16 to 5 and everyone had a blast. Not once did anyone complain they were bored. The pool was perfect, we played pickle ball, basketball, corn hole and had enough space in the backyard to play some football! After getting worn out playing all day it was so nice to turn on a movie in the theater room for the kids and let the parents relax in the outdoor spaces. Inside the house is so spacious and the open concept is great for having everyone together. Definitely recommend if you’re looking for the perfect family or adult getaway!

Wonderful Outdoor Area!

The house was very nice. Once we got in. The access code we were sent did not work and we spent first 20 minutes outside at night listening to coyotes before they got us in. Once in…. We enjoyed the house including theater room. The outdoor area (pool,spa, fireplace, golf, basketball, dining) was fabulous!

The home did not disappoint. It was everything we could ask for. The property manager was very responsive and helpful throughout the stay. The pool and spa were amazing and the perfect temp when warmed for the winter nights in Arizona. The home was spacious and fit our large family very nicely. The kitchen was huge and fit all of us ladies when it came time to cooking meals for the family. We would definitely stay again if ever in Arizona. Thank you!!!

Spacious and fun house for reunion

Our party of 8 college friends celebrate our 50th birthdays at this lovely property. The house was clean, beautifully decorated, with lots of entertainment options indoors and outdoors. We enjoyed spending the days exploring Scottsdale, Sedona, and the Boulders Spa, but because the house was so nice we had most dinners on the patio and enjoyed the pool/spa/slide. The property managers were very responsive. When we discovered the spa didn’t heat up on the first night, it was addressed the very next morning. I would recommend staying here and would book again when visiting the area. Our entire party loved staying here, thank you for a wonderful stay!

Disappointing

Spent 5 days on property for Spring Training. Property was listed with lots of outside activities for adults and kids alike. Inside of home was clean and had nice layout for 3 families. Kitchen wasn’t stocked with enough cleaning supplies, dish towels, trash bags, etc. Be prepared to bring your own. Ice maker did not work on refrigerator. Outside was a major disappointment. The pool and spa were non functional 4 out of 5 days. Technicians were sent out 5 times and issues were not resolved leaving us without one of the major reasons we booked this property. And, dead mouse was in pool when we arrived. Property management was not willing to give any compensation refund for lack of nonfunctional pool/spa. Would not book again. Not worth money spent.

Great property for large family

We had 11 in our party including ages from 8-42. The property is very well taken care of and had everything we needed for a wonderful staycation. The pool was amazing. We had some issues with the internet and had to reset the router in order to reconnect to the wifi a couple times but otherwise it was a nice experience. The only downside was the air conditioning. It was extremely loud in the kitchen area and unfortunately that was the only area in the home that was constantly cool. The rooms on both wings of the home were very warm and the AC did not seem to reach them very well. They provided box fans for each of the rooms but it did not really help to keep the rooms cool. For the cost of the rental we expected the AC to work well in each bedroom. Otherwise the listing was accurate and we had a great stay.

Bachelor trip/golf trip

A few things about the property needs to be known. The septic tank must be small because the pipes/ sink was easily backed up which made the house smell terrible. Not constant but very prevalent when it backs up. There is a Mrs. Packman machine but it doesn’t work. The theater is really cool, however the AC on that side of the house is sub-par and the top chairs don’t recline. Lastly, the back porch patio table is very close to breaking on one side. Not to say this is a bad place. Overall, great place to stay but these few items need addressed.

Desert Retreat Highs and Lows

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The pool was spectacular as advertised, the bedrooms were comfortable and spacious. However we encountered a lot of challenges elsewhere. Toilet water seeped from under the floor in a bathroom, the ice machine, ceiling fan, sink faucet, toaster, and can opener were all broken. When you spend this kind of money you expect higher quality. We were not told we would need to buy our own toilet paper, tissues, and cleaning supplies, that came as a shock when we ran out of toilet paper. Management responded to my request quickly about the toilet water coming up from the floor but ignored my request to have the ice machine fixed. The pack and Play and highchair were nice when traveling with kids but there were no dishes or cups for kids.

Staycations are our thing

The house is nice, and the backyard is great for a staycation with friends or family. We had paid to have the pool and spa heated during our stay. It was not heated when we arrived and per the instructions, we were not to touch the remote. We reached out to let them know, and we got a response the next morning from Billie the property manager. She came by the house and the issue was resolved. It was unfortunate that we didn't get to use the spa the first night, but Billie tried to make it right. Our only other complaints were the air conditioning wasn't working in part of the house but Billie sent out a guy to fix it the second day and we had no other issues the rest of our stay. My other recommendation is to change the checkout time to 11:00 am, 10:00 is too early. In my experience, no other vacation rental companies have checkout times that are this early nor do hotels. We requested a later checkout after we were told we couldn't get reimbursed for the spa not working the first day. Billie was able to make it happen for us and we checked out at 11:00.

October Vacation

The house and was what was advertised. The house was clean when we arrived but the house from being a VRBO rental needed some work as the carpets were well used and in need of a cleaning or replacing. We did find that there was very little in the way of kitchen supplies which included dishwasher tabs ( we had to buy a bag) as not many were supplied. There was a pepper shaker and the salt was in a box, which isn't convenient to use. The house really didn't have any kitchen condiments other than the salt and pepper. The house did have a lot of plates, glasses and pots and pans, knifes and forks. We did opt out of heating the pool but soon realized that we needed to heat the pool so we contacted House and Homes and mentioned that the pool was in need of a cleaning. We also asked that they turn on the heat after it was cleaned. I talked to Jane at House and Homes (Jane was excellent) and they agreed to not to charge us to heat the pool as we had a few other issues that needed to be attended to. House and Homes were excellent and had the pool people and a plumber look at the sinks and fan, which were all fixed perfectly. We did have pool issues as the week went on as we could not keep the heater on and was off for the last two days. The location was perfect and close to stores, restaurants and other activities near by.

Fantastic value for a large family!

With members scattered around the Phoenix area, this Scottsdale home was the perfect place for our family stay-cation! We read the reviews ahead of time so we came prepared with extra paper products, plastic ware & serving dishes. The starter packs were minimal but this is mentioned in the house description. The outdoor area is amazing! I didn't pay for the pool heating, but even with all the rain we've received in the last few weeks the water temperature was perfect. We were a little intimidated by the noise ordinance warnings, as a family with small children who aren't notoriously quiet...but we had no issues. There is a noise meter outside (shaped like an ear) that displays green, yellow, or red, based on the decibels it detects. This-and all the signs about quiet hours-were good reminders for everyone. When we first arrived I received a text from the property manager, reminding me of the noise ordinance in Scottsdale and that "no parties" are allowed. I understand why they over-communicate this, but with a house accommodating 14 people, and with all the amenities it has- it seemed a little odd. Anytime our large family gets together for a weekend stay in a house this size...it is a party. But we were respectful of the property, cleaned up after ourselves, and didn't have the cops knocking at the door. I think it's just the negative effects of "parties" that they're trying to avoid. This property was perfect for our end-of-summer family gathering & I would recommend staying here!

Family Vacation

The house was very well appointed, spacious, and comfortable. There were 10 of us ranging from 5-50 and we never felt on top of each other and there was room to spread out. The pool was fantastic, there was so much to do and the communication with the hosts was better than I’ve ever had. We will absolutely be back!!

Great week in a great house

We stayed here April 26- May 3, 2025. House location was great. Large lots for all the homes in the area and quiet neighborhood too. We took our adult children and grandchildren ages 1,3 and 5 and hardly ever left the property because they all enjoyed it so much. The pool was amazing we paid to have it heated and ended up having to turn it down because it was too warm! Used Shipt shoppers for groceries and brought in take out a couple of times and ate on the covered patio. The pickleball court and putting green were a hit with the kids. The yard and ebterior of the house could use a little sprucing up but all in all a fantastic place to stay as a family!
