This motel had spacious rooms with good amenities including a full size cooker. It was clean and warm. We were grateful for an early check in after a walk in the rain from the train station. Fresh milk that was provided is always more welcome than the uht small containers.

Old but tidy room. Bathroom was a let down - no towels and no shower curtain. Luckily we had towels with us after being on the road for 2 weeks around the South Island, but having no shower curtain in there meant, when we showered the bathroom flooded.
