Very nice stay. We just needed a place to sleep for the night as a stop on our way to our destination. We were pleasantly surprised at the cleanliness and professional and friendly staff. The place we stayed the night before wasn't as nice.

The room we stayed in had not been used in a while. The only problem with cleanliness was there were some dead bugs on the desk and dresser. I am going to say the room hadn't been used in a couple of weeks.

Piedmont is totally rural although only a few miles from Rapid City. Seemed very like all the other rural areas which is the VAST majority of South Dakota.
