We had a wonderful two-night stay and everything was perfect. Chris is an exceptional host who made us feel truly welcome. The location is ideal, very close to Pienza, the rooms are spotless, and everything is extremely well organized. Breakfast was delicious, and Chris gave us excellent tips about the area. Highly recommended!

Quiet property outside of town. Easy walking trail to town. Very friendly staff and helpful finding us activities and restaurants. Good breakfast. Beautiful views of the valley and a nice escape from the bigger towns.

Beautiful and quiet. Once you find it you realize the tranquility and views. The walk to town is short and the staff was lovely. Breakfast was a delight. The bar situation was sad so plan ahead.

The room was tiny. We had to walk over our luggage to get to the bed. Cute location in the countryside with limited parking when full. Breakfast was great. The kettle was a shared one in the hallway. Too expensive for what you got.

Fantastic Spot 10/10

Absolutely loved our stay at A440. Stunning views and the proximity to the Pienza made walking to town very convenient and given the limited dining options on site great for lunch and dinner. The included breakfast was great. Staff were helpful and communicated well ahead of our arrival. Note that checking in after 7pm requires planning so make sure to keep that in mind. The road up to the property is a little bumpy but totally manageable, other reviews made it seem like it would be a bigger issue than it really was. Overall the property is truly special with exceptional views and a lovely pool and gardens. Would recommend staying in the annex for added privacy and view of the valley.

Lovely stay at A440

We had a really lovely stay at A440. We were staying with our 7 year old, he was on a Japanese futon which I thought was slightly hard but he slept like a log so it’s obviously perfectly suitable for a child. Our bed was extremely comfortable!! From reading reviews I was slightly worried about the road up to the hotel, but our hire car had no problem with it. The hotel is in a beautiful location, outstanding views, the pool was fabulous. We walked into Pienza most days and nights, it was a great walk about 15 mins, amazing views on the last part, very dark at night near the hotel so use your phone torch. Breakfast was great and the staff were very friendly and nice. Highly recommend staying here!!

I was so very disappointed in this property We only stayed 1 night. The dirt road into property was full of pot holes and gravel. The bedroom windows did not face the view. The dinner was basic. The swimming pool was under construction so we couldnt use.

Parenthèse reposante dans ce logement idéalement situé dans un écrin de verdure à quelques pas de Pienza. Chambre et salle de bain spacieuses, décorées avec goût et d’une propreté irréprochable, offrant confort et tout le nécessaire : literie très confortable et calme plat. Petit déjeuner correct, copieux et varié. Il est très agréable de passer des heures à se prélasser au soleil au bord de la piscine qui offre une vue sur la nature environnante. Nous avons passés un séjour de 2 nuits merveilleux et regrettons seulement de ne pas avoir pu y rester d’avantage !!

Hotel de campo surpreendente na Toscana

Hotel no campo na cidade de Pienza, que fica entre Montalccino e Montepulciano, incrível localização, infraestrutura e pessoal. Com vista para o Val d'Orcia, local muito procurado por quem procura cenas lindas dessa parte da Toscana. Tudo funcionou perfeitamente bem, desde o quarto, café da manhã, jardins, localização perfeita, a 5 minutos de carro da charmosa cidadezinha de Pienza, uma pérola toscana. Equipe muito atenciosa, ambientes lindamente decorados, enfim perfeito.
