"Poets Cove is a lovely resort on Pender Island. The facility is clean, staff are friendly and helpful. We stayed in the lodge building and the common areas appear to well kept and maintained, our room showed signs of age in terms of scrapes on door frames, ceiling fan that didn't work (several portable fans provided in the closet),

"I arrived quite late at night and left at breakfast the next morning so I didn’t interact with any staff. As such, I can really only review the room.
The upside: my late arrival was accommodated with ease. Parking and getting to my room were simple and quick. The room itself was quite large, with a sitting area where one could unwind for the day.
The downside: My room could use a refresh. The style is fussy, think artificial flowers and lace. The bathroom has the original fixtures and tub so...
