"Amazing resort in Pilanesberg. Very high standard of service. Food and service first class. Safari vehicles well maintained and comfortable. Even have comfort stop during drives. Our ranger excellent (Jaktah-probably spelt incorrectly sorry) with vast knowledge of wildlife and birdlife. Saw big five. Each drive very different in terms of viewing and terrain. Rooms comfortable and spacious as were communal areas. Nice pool."

"Everything was excellent in my opinion. The staff are happy and friendly. We were lucky on our afternoon game drives we saw lots of animals. The morning game drive was very quiet, probably due to the cold weather conditions. The buffet was well catered for. The room was very comfortable and spacious. I highly recommend this property. "very nice surprise, a lot of history to the place especially if you are into the anglo boer war, Paul Kruger etc. Met the owner, Robert Forsyth, very nice and friendly person, full of knowledge about South African History. The room we were in was very spacious, it also included a sizeable bathtub.
There are 60 something rooms in the lodge but they appear to be spread out as I only saw maybe a dozen which made the place very private.

"Mbazo lodge is truly a special place. You are looked after like a king. True six star service. The food and drink was incredible. The chef so talented. The staff are so friendly and helpful. The drives were amazing and the guides so knowledgeable. Thirty elephants came and drank from the pool while I was eating lunch my first day. A wonderful place. "
