Top Pillar Forum Cafe Hotel Reviews
The Royal Sonesta Minneapolis Downtown
10/10 Excellent
"We came into town for a concert. We were so excited to see that the venue was only 2 blocks away. Upon checking in, the gentleman that helped us was so nice. He communicated with us about everything the hotel had to offer, places nearby, the venue where the concert was being held, etc. The hotel room was very nice and clean. It was stocked with towels (always a plus), tea, coffee and water. The linens were clean and the beds were comfortable. I was a bit chilly in the room but we were able to control the thermostat. The only thing we didn’t like is there was no valet parking and you have to pay separately for the parking. Where we did end up parking (underground parking) was well lit and clean. We will most definitely be back again."

The Westin Minneapolis
8/10 Good
"Loved the location and the amenities. Housekeeping was a little behind property standards in my opinion. Basically just pulled up our bed linens and replaced towels. Dirty glasses not replaced and new water not replaced. One day we got no housekeeping service by 4:45 and had to tell front desk. Not to mention cable tv service was out for a complete day. I called front desk and they told me maintenance was on the way up and they never showed up-Two different times in one day. Weirdly, this room had no drawers to store clothes in. Still, we enjoyed our stay and staff was friendly and welcoming."

" Great stay at Nordy Vrbo!Beautiful, spacious, and chic home with an amazing yard for outdoor activities. The location is perfect — easy walk to downtown, waterfront trails, and a local craft brewery. Stayed here for concert at Target Stadium.Highly recommend."
Victorian Modern, on the Mississippi River
8/10 Good
"We chose to stay here for two main reasons: it was advertised as pet friendly and it's conveniently located to where we needed to be. We liked the description and the photos--all of which are very accurate. It's whimsical with lots of perks, such as a well-supplied kitchen. There's not just a trash and recycling bin--there's even a compost bin. (Props to the hosts for this!) It's light and airy--a good place for families or close (very close!) friends to stay (only 1 bath). The hosts live on site--so on the positive side this means they're generally available for any trouble-shooting. This is a great rental for folks who are communally minded and a bit more extroverted given that the outdoor area is more of a shared space. Limitations have very little to do with the hosts. There is parking along the street--we consistently had to park across the street. NBD. That said, if you're not from the midwest and therefore not accustomed to overly "friendly" strangers greeting you--be advised that one of the neighbors (across the street) consistently popped out onto his porch and more often than not came curbside to interact with us no matter what the time of day or night was. Street lighting isn't the most luminous in this area, so we found his "neighborliness" to be a bit much. As far as the area--lots of really great coffee shops and restaurants nearby --many within walking distance. We particularly enjoyed Curiouso, the Mojo Coffee Gallery and Mestizo (for dinner)."
