Private cabin with resort amenities; kayak, paddleboard, pontoon, great swimming
10/10 Excellent
"We had a great mini vacation on the lake! We were looking for something private and quiet so we could enjoy some family time alone. That’s exactly what we got! My boys loved using the paddle boats and row boats to go fishing! The beach was great and we got to enjoy the animal life, loons, eagles, and deer coming down to the water at dusk!"
"Property was clean and quiet. Pool was good, but dark and the hot tub was out of service. Stayed at same hot last July and pool and hot tub were both not working, so this was improved I guess. Breakfast was a bit dismal, with beige sausage and just cereal, juice, coffee, bagels and mini muffins. Ultimately though, it was clean and safe and a comfortable sleep."

"We had an absolutely fantastic time.Cabin was clean, beautifully taken care of the facility is in a quaint gorgeous area. it's a beautiful little lake that had all kinds of loons on it. We saw loons with baby loons and had a fantastic time swimming in the ultra clear water. entire camp was quiet and well kept and is surrounded by beautiful natural gardens. We definitely will be going again."
"They tried to give me a double bed room. Not happy so they game me a queen like I booked. My husband could smell cat smell in room. The shower head was terrible. I am 5' 6" and It hit me in between my shoulders. Not happy!! A person with a bad back would have had terrible problems with this shower! If using these rooms for extended stay that is fine but when people can smell cat it's bad. Also trying to fall asleep was awful because of the poor lonely cat across the hall crying at the door. Before an unsuspecting person books a room please forewarn them. That would be the proper way to handle this. You should close your doors if you cannot run it properly and offer to sell to someone who is responsible and go do your slumloarding someplace else!!"
"The property is very peaceful and tranquil, with beautiful gardens around the yard. Family friendly with lots of games and space for the kids! Kitchen is well stocked. It is a large home, so we split the cost with two others making it affordable. We would definitely stay here again!"
The Lakeside Lookout - Lakefront 4BR Cabin - Dock, Kayaks, Swim Raft + Game Shed
10/10 Excellent
"We had an amazing time at Lakeside Lookout! The hosts put so much thought and attention into every detail, and the home had everything we needed and more. It was exceptionally clean, comfortable, and had stunning views overlooking Big Lake. There was more than enough room for our family and the other family we were traveling with. The layout provided plenty of space for everyone to spread out, the beds were comfortable, and we never felt crowded. There truly was something for everyone. The kids loved spending time in the game room, swimming out to the raft, and enjoying the lake, while the adults appreciated relaxing on the beautiful deck with a cup of coffee and taking in the peaceful views. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. I highly recommend Lakeside Lookout to anyone looking for a relaxing, family-friendly getaway. We can’t wait to come back!"
