"The space was updated and clean - the in room amenities retro and cute, though I didn't really use any for my quick one night stay. I was pleasantly surprised by the sauna. My room could have used more than one lamp; it did feel a little dark and dingy at night. Standard hotel continental breakfast: lots of carbs and a few protein options. The check in staff was very friendly. Easy check out - leave your key in the basket. Would stay again!"

"Absolutely amazing property, we loved every second of it. Close to Marquette and munising and on a pristine bit of land. Definitely fit for 2-4 people but the property will take your breath away on the drive in alone."

"Overall a great family retreat. We enjoyed the water craft paddles, caught pike and bass off the end of the dock. Husband thoroughly enjoyed the sauna. Heads up, the internet connection was great when it worked. Sporadic outages occurred, perhaps a hardware fix is needed. Definitely will be adding this to Yummy Places app and sharing with friends."

"Very nice home (clean) well equipped and good location. Host communication was excellent. Lake has abundant eagles (didn’t see a moose ) and good fishing, however not the best for swimming (Weedy/Shallow). Quite area for the most part. Many extras included i.e. s’mores kit, soaps/shampoo etc.., all appliances were newer."

"We thought this property was overpriced for the space. No breakfast unless you wanted to order it and make it in your room. Our room did have a kitchenette but no utensils or pans. Found out later that they were available at the front desk. Not sure if there was a charge"

"Lisa is a great host. The place was super clean and is a great central spot to stay if you want to travel around the U.P. We had an issue where the pilot light went out on the hot water and her husband was there ASAP to fix it. Good pizza at the store as well"

"Great cottage with lots of Yooper charm, kitchen was very well stocked with plenty of cookware. Water toys gallor, sadly our week was cut short by the fall out from the wild fires this July, but our first few day were perfect!"
