We loved our stay! The staff went above and beyond to helps us out. The rooms were a little dated but had everything you could need and the AC works great. We stayed for one night before our ferry and it was perfect.

Gd location, nice rooms for a 1 night stop

We booked for two nights expecting more to explore. In early Dec? Many things are closed (historical sites, etc). If you're passing thru' I'd say Piombino is a nice town for a one night stop. Especially if en route to Elba. Otherwise? Well this hotel has a perfect location if arriving by triain (3 min walk). And it's right at the top of the pedestrian zone going down to the water. Room was a decent size, bathroom was good. Some downsides: light from the street wasn't blocked enough, and in Dec over heated. Breakfast was good if you like pastries, yogurt, cereal. 2nd morning they offered eggs as well. Perfectly good option for a one night stop, great location.

Très bel hôtel avec une architecture superbe et une chambre magnifique. L'hôtel est situé à 5 mns de la gare de Piombino et à quelques mètres du centre de cette charmante cité.

Hotel comodo su corso Italia ,in pieno centro di Piombino .camere pulite semplici ma confortevoli.manca ascensore ma scala comoda per chi non ha problemi di deambulazione. Colazione buona .ottima disponibilità del personale sia in presenza sia con interazione da remoto

Valeu a pena a estadia neste hotel!

A minha estadia foi muito boa. O quarto era grande, confortável e no que eu fiquei tinha uma grande cama de casal e mais um beliche, embora eu tenha pago um quarto single. O café da manhã foi bom, mas o que mais gostei foi do atendimento. Nota 10. Aziz, um marroquino e Silvia, ambos recepcionistas foram os grandes destaques da minha estadia. Aziz me recebeu muito cordialmente e fez tudo pra me atender em todas as minhas necessidades e dúvidas. Me ajudou a subir com a mala para o segundo andar e me indicou lugar para comer e onde eu deveria pegar o bus para a estação Campiglia Maritma dia seguinte. Até francês ele falou comigo, já que não domino o italiano. Muito gentil e atencioso. Silvia também muito atenciosa me permitiu comer na sala do café da manhã o lanche comprado em supermercado pouco antes de ir embora. Mas o mais surpreendente foi que deixei meu celular no balcão da recepção para colocar a mochila nas costas e fui embora pro ponto de ônibus. Uns 5 minutos depois lá vem Silvia correndo: eu havia esquecido meu celular no balcão e isso iria me causar inúmeros problemas no final de minha viagem, além do que boa parte das minhas fotos de viagem estavam no celular e minhas confirmações de passagens também. Logo, ela salvou meu final de viagem e eu sou muito grata por isto. Funcionários assim fazem um hotel ser bem visto e recomendado. Adorei minha estadia mesmo que curta no Hotel Moderno. Voltarei lá se eu decidir retornar à Piombino.

Foram muito gentis me deixando ficar no salão, fora do horário do café da manhã, para comer alguns itens que comprei num supermercado próximo, antes de pegar o ônibus para a estação de Campiglia Marítima.

Outstanding customer service great hotel

Great hotel 5 minutes from Piombino station and centre of main shopping area with cafes Clean and freshly decorated rooms Fantastic customer service reception was up 2 flights of stairs we rang the bell in the entry and seconds later our large suitcases were wisked up stairs Great breakfast and service Morning we left to catch an early train we did not expect breakfast however we were surprised to be provided breakfast at 6.15am when it normally is served at 7am the staff went out of their way to provide the early service which was really appreciated Great place to stay to go to Elba Island Just catch the train to piombino marittima a 5 minute trip then the ferry The hotel is highly recommended we would definately stay again
