Staff was very helpful during our stay. We had to leave at 5am and they had made us a nice breakfast to go. Room was nice and we were in a great location.

The hotel was in a quiet area 9 mins walk from the train station and 17 mins walk to Leaning Tower of Pisa. Bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was excellent.

We enjoyed the traditional Italian decor plus the 5 star breakfast and dinners at Hotel Bologna. The Hotel is walking distance to the Leaning Tower and Museums. The staff was friendly and helpful. They also have airport shuttle service.

We stayed here for a few days at the beginning of a tour and a few days at the end of our tour. We love the historic area of the hotel. Walkable to all the attractions and 5 star breakfast. The staff if friendly and helpful. They have a shuttle service to and from the airport.

We enjoyed our stay. The breakfast was good stuff was amazing. They also held onto our luggage as we did not need to leave immediately after checking out they were in very close proximity to all the things we wanted to see and be around.

Had a great long weekend at the Bolenga hotel. Location was great for sightseeing. Room had everything you required with a variety of free toiletries, free water in the mini bar and free slippers to use in the room. The terrace was lovely to sit and have a drink before going out in the evening. Reception staff, bar staff and cleaners friendly. Breakfast was nice but depending on what time you went had different choices of food. The only small negative staff slow at refilling juice, bread, pastries and plates. Would definitely stay here again and recommend.

We only stayed one night. The breakfast was excellent. Very convenient shuttle to the airport (reservation and additional cost). Very nice property. However, the A/C made an awful noise, so ended up turning it off and opening the windows but the people sitting on the lovely terrace were rightfully enjoying it so couldn’t sleep and had to close the windows and turn on the A/C again, then back off at 4:30 am. Needless to say, not much sleep. Only two very flat pillows provided. Fix those two things and this would be a fantastic place to stay.

This comfortable hotel is very conveniently located in central Pisa. The single room was understandably compact, but there was no lack in its facilities. The staff were welcoming and the breakfast buffet offered a great array of options.

I enjoyed my 2 night stay at Hotel Bologna. As a solo female traveller, I felt very comfortable staying in the hotel. Every member of staff I dealt with were excellent and went out of their way to help. Breakfast was also a nice added bonus and as I had a very early flight, a breakfast was prepared for me to take tonthe airport when I checked out. Room was very nice, as was the bathroom. I would have no hesitation in booking this hotel again.

Staff were very good but hotel is tired. Aircon was very noisy and difficult to adjust (either freezing cold or very muggy). Bed comfortable but bedding barely adequate. Nice outside terrace. Close to central station and commercial area, but not much choice of eateries nearby. Overall, disappointing, wouldn’t return.
