I made an excellent choice of many Pismo Beach hotels! Cottage Inn by the Sea has a beautiful location overlooking the ocean. Our room (King with ocean view, upper floor) was great - large, clean, comfortable. I cant say enough good things about the wonderful staff - very friendly and helpful. It was a perfect stay - we only wish we could have stayed longer. But we will return!

Very quaint boutique style hotel right on the cliffs of Pismo Beach. We woke to a sea lion and dolphins out our window. Had our morning coffee walking the path along the beach where we saw hundreds of Pelicans and other native birds. We ended at one of the gas fire pits. Great stay….

Beautiful hotel on the ocean of Pismo beach. Very nice staff and easy parking. The firepits are popular and right outside the window. Very romantic stop. Also found an amazing Mexican food downtown pismo and cinnamon rolls. Would stop back if every in the area again.

Bacon Croissant sandwich was the best ever. Staff was so kind and accomodating. They thought of everything from the beach bag we forgot to smores to eat around the fire. I rarely use hot tubs and pools on vacation and we were in these constantly. The pool temperature was perfect. The gardens were absolutely gorgeous and view was stunning. It was one of the best trips we have ever taken! Hiking the hills behind the cottage were so beautiful.

We had a wonderful stay! We were traveling with young kids and our dog, and this hotel was a great choice. The staff was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always happy to help. The scenery is absolutely beautiful, with stair access down to the beach. The pool and hot tub were great for kids play or relaxing. There are also plenty of great places to eat just a short drive away. We would definitely recommend this hotel to families and anyone traveling with pets!
