"Welcome to Camp! Camp Deforest plays on the theme of going to “summer camp” and they hit it out of the park. The attention to detail for days gone by is top notch. The rooms are spacious, clean, comfortable, and fun. The campfires at night are surrounded by families, friends, and couples enjoying stories, s’mores and each other’s company. The staff is friendly and helpful and rest assured they can teach you how to build. Campfire."

"Pitcher Pond is my idea of heaven. And Pitcher Perfect is the best rental home we've ever stayed at! The rooms are immaculate and and there's space for everyone---8 adults. My favorite part is the big porch that wraps around the back of the house. We saw bald eagles soar overhead! And the pond itself is divine! This is our 2nd year here. Can't wait til next summer!"

"The Lodge is a lovely property set on a hill in a residential condo community. There is a tennis court, and a pool. The pool had an algal bloom, while we were there, of which we were not advised, Otherwise, the communication with the owner was prompt and accurate. There were lots of toys, puzzles, games, and books. The wrap around porch was wonderful. Everyone had their own private bed/bath suite, which was fabulous. The kitchen is large with 2 dishwashers, and an extra large refrigerator. Lots of dishes, and silverware. Some of the kitchen pots and pans need to be replaced, but we were still able to cook many meals. There were many leftover condiments and other items from past guests. It would have been nice if they were labeled for freshness purposes; still appreciated.The trails at the property were not maintained, so we did most of our hiking at Camden Hills State Park. There is a lovely lake nearby for swimming or boating( canoes, kayaks).Took the ferry to Isleboro, and visited many small towns in area; Belfast, Rockland, Rockport, Camden, Fernalds Nature Preserve in worth a trip. It was great to be in a rural part of Maine. Lots to see and do, it just hang out.There were plenty of beach towels in the laundry room. Could have used extra towels, and toilet paper in the otherwise nicely appointed bedrooms. Room refrigerators were a nice touch. I made several suggestions to the owner to make this place a five star property. I recommend this property for large groups."

Water View Cottage in Charming Lincolnville

"Property was great for our need. We liked the location not being a major tourist area but able to drive to touristy things fairly easily. Everything was clean and welcoming. The “ocean view” was a bit deceiving. While technically you can see it if you look hard, the profile picture was taken in winter when the view was better and also looks much closer than it is. The balcony would have been perfect to sit out and gaze at the sky (which it is) but for the big con. The biggest con with the location is the proximity to a very busy and loud road. The cars fly by very fast and loud. The only saving grace at night was the air conditioner that muffled the sound a bit. It fit our family well and maybe the noise didn’t affect the rest of my family but it was something that I noticed a lot."

"From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed and completely at home. The cabin is beautifully maintained, spotlessly clean, and has everything you could possibly need for a relaxing getaway.The setting is truly breathtaking. Waking up each morning to peaceful lake views and enjoying quiet evenings on the porch, or by the fire pit, it was exactly what we were looking for. Whether you're sipping your morning coffee, catching large mouth bass from the dock, or simply taking in the natural beauty, every moment feels special.The cabin perfectly combines rustic Maine charm with modern comfort. One of the things we loved most was the location. It feels wonderfully peaceful and secluded, yet it's just a short drive to the charming coastal towns of Camden and Belfast, where we enjoyed browsing unique shops, exploring the waterfront, and dining at several excellent restaurants.This was one of the most relaxing vacations we've had, and we left already talking about when we can come back. If you're looking for an authentic Maine getaway that offers stunning lakefront tranquility along with easy access to some of the area's best shopping, dining, and unforgettable experiences, this cabin is the perfect choice. We can't recommend it highly enough—five stars all the way!"

"The cabin was very clean and I loved the privacy. Great place to get away from the city. Bed was comfortable and the bedding was cozy. The kitchen had everything I needed (toaster, dishes, drinking glasses, utensils, hot plate, cooking pan). The welcome box with dish detergent was an added bonus. The screen in porch was a wonderful and peaceful spot to drink coffee in the morning. I also enjoyed the walking trail with the map. We are looking forward to coming back soon."

"It was apparent that the property welcomes pets, but we didn’t have any. Communication was quick with the host.This is a small house, but well stocked and included thoughtful items.The property is close to grocery and 13 minutes to Lincolnville, and 21 minutes to Belfast. "
