Parking easy, close to the city and restaurants. Hot water for the shower is HOT, might need to be adjusted. Otherwise great little property!!

I loved the place...close to downtown happenings which I loved. Comfy bed and host let us come in a little early. The small supply of towels and toilet paper made me not give this an overall five because I felt like we were rationed. There was a power outage during our stay we had flashlights but that would be nice to have for these kind of situations.

Absolutely perfect for a small get away

This property was absolutely perfect for our very short trip, the neighborhood was great and there is an Aldi’s very close by. The property owner was very kind and the property was fully equipped with anything you could need for a short trip.

We enjoyed our stay at the not so tiny house. Bed was super comfortable. Great private space for us as a couple. We did bring our dog but think she would have liked it. Near two grocery stores and several coffee shops/bakeries.

What a quaint spot to stay! We loved the coziness of this place. It had everything we needed to be comfortable with our two small dogs in tow. Location was ideal for us as well.

Cute location

Had a great time staying here. I had total confidence in my host, and they made me feel very comfortable which was super important to me. This place had more amenities than I even needed! Very comfortable. However, if you visit in the winter you’ll have to bring a portable heater for the bathroom, as it gets really cold in the mornings!!

Adorable

I loved this little spot... I did a solo getaway, and this was perfect for me. In a pretty quiet neighborhood, and I felt safe. Close to all the good stuff Pittsburgh has to offer. I will be back!

Tiny getaway

The neighborhood was very quiet. Close to restaurants and an ALDIs. A few places to eat and hangout on Penn St. The area is welcoming to all and going through transformation for the better. Enjoy the neighborhood bunny if you see it.

The Tiny House Rocks!

We were delighted with the Tiny House! It feels even bigger than it looks and is super light and bright thanks to windows on three sides. The house was very clean, the mattress super comfy and there’s loads of storage. Newer pots, pans and dishes also a plus. The area is amazing – very young, hip, artsy and fun. Just the best coffee shops, bars and restaurants, vintage thrift stores and more. We were there two weeks, so the Aldi and Whole Foods being close was great. Adam, our host, was very accommodating when we hit some challenges with our dates. Overall, a fabulous stay!

Good price & location

Good price and location. Close enough to quick driving distance to downtown Pittsburgh and surrounding areas but not walkable (if you’re looking for that) house was the perfect size & cleanliness for what my bf and I were looking for. Only downside was the check in- the property manager was super response and helpful, but took about a half hour to get in. The lock box code wouldn’t work and after multiple attempts and at one point getting locked out it was very frustrating. Adam, the host, was super nice and responsive so I wouldn’t let this part hinder your decision because we were overall happy with our stay! Thank you!

Not for us

Pros: Stand alone house, dog-friendly, modern amenities inside with a comfy bed, walkable to some nice restaurants Cons: This neighborhood is a bit rundown and not well lit, so I didn't feel completely safe walking at night and worried about parking my car on the street overnight. There is an alarm system installed...but the fact that an alarm system is needed put me on edge. The blinds in the house don't do a good job of blocking out light. No microwave. This was the last leg on a cross-country road trip and our least favorite spot. I would seek an alternative the next time I am in the area.

Cute tiny house

Nice house, the interior was missing some of the furniture shown in the picture. We were traveling with two little dogs, there is no yard available even though the picture looks like there is a small patch of grass. The up and coming neighborhood still has a way to go, however we felt relatively safe having to go out and find a place to walk the dogs at night. The front porch light was also out, so getting in at night with a key required the bright moon. The refrigerator freezer was so frozen over, you could not use it, the fridge was fine but tiny. We didn’t cook, only used the coffee pot. A small microwave would have been helpful to warm up the takeout food. Due to unforeseen circumstances, we only stayed two nights out of the six we had planned on. It was okay, it was clean, but I probably wouldn’t go back.

Good:-Clean kitchen with nicely sized fridge and freezer-Easy parking-Great selection of streaming and good sized TV-Location was central to everything near East Liberty and Lawrenceville, as hoped-Aldi is a one block walkBad:-The tiny house feels like nothing has been upkept in it since the photos on the listing were taken--Futon is so worn down and without padding that I would say not to plan to sleep on it. We had difficulty sitting on it to watch TV for more than a few minutes before the wood and springs started hurting us.--The bed pillows are flat and worn - even stacking them on top of each other is less than one standard new pillow--The nonstick pots and pans in the kitchen have all been scraped and ruined with metal utensils--The porch light and bathroom light are both broken or burnt outThe biggest issue we experienced was the bathroom. The shower head dumps full stream of water directly against the windowsill instead of the tub, and black mold has grown in the sill and frame. The bed is directly in front of the bathroom, with the HVAC blowing above, and we woke up itching, coughing and sneezing, eventually just keeping the door to the bathroom closed with a towel draped over it to block airflow. The location was perfect enough for us that we stayed the entire length of our trip, but it wasn't exactly comfortable.I would suggest staying somewhere else unless the host makes updates to match the quality and cleanliness of photos.
