We have been coming to Palm Island 1-2 times per year for over 20 years. My kids are now grown, but it continues to be a tradition that barring hurricanes, we meet every Thanksgiving at Palm Island. The beach is absolutely gorgeous, and the grounds and pool are amazing. We usually rent a golf cart and ride around admiring the beautiful shrubs, palm trees and wildlife. Most of the condos have been updated and are quite nice. Since it has not been redone, Condo 1313 is offered at a substantial discount. It really wasn’t much of an issue until the past two years. It is really becoming rundown but more importantly, not clean. The carpet was absolutely filthy with PET stains scattered throughout the bedrooms. Additionally, the cold-air return grill looked like it hadn’t been touched in years with a thick accumulation of dust and debris, and you could see years of crumbs adjacent to the range. The rest of the condo was clean. The WiFi was not working but they had us use the adjacent condo’s. Unfortunately, the reception was not great. Removing the unique challenges of condo 1313, Palm Island Resort is paradise on earth.
