"If you are visiting Bayeux this is the place you want to stay. You will have a 10 minute walk from the train station and you will be a 3 minute walk to the tour pickups. We went in September so the Dyson fan in our room was sufficient. Very safe feel and very upscale feel. Many places to eat within a stones throw. Do yourself a favor and book. Also if you are visiting Normandy and the D-day sites , take some time to walk to the Bayeux war cemetery. Very moving and we need to honor their sacrifice as well!"

"Location is terrific in the center of all the cafes, fine dining, shopping and services without needing a car or public transport. Jay at front office was most accommodating as was Ludjica(sp?). Room was small as expected but bath was great and entire area very clean"

"Beautiful property, well managed. Quiet and peaceful surroundings. Interesting history of the Chateau. It's off the main tourist path. So be ready to settle in and enjoy the limited but excellent quality food and beverage in the hotel. I'd recommend it to the traveler who wants to relax in peace after a busy day or two touring Normandy. If you want nightlife, stay in Bayeux!"
