"Left sign out in morning for room to be serviced. No one came all day. Around 530p i found a housekeeper and asked her for fresh linens and ro have the garbage dumped. Breakfast is very sparce and not any real choices other than breads or waffles and grape juice or coffee. Had to go buy Breakfast everyday "

"For the money, I cannot think of a better value! I’m traveling for a new job and needing a place relatively close to Aberdeen. Since I have had HORRIBLE experiences in Aberdeen, I decided to check this place out and I cannot recommend it enough. I was not sure if I had the right place at first as the big sign outside reads “Ocean Shore Resort” and doesn’t mention American Value Inn except for a decal on the door. So I thought I was at the wrong place for a few minutes. Perhaps since it’s the off season, I had to call the manager to check in but she came in within five minutes and checked me in quickly. The room is very clean and modern. Had all the necessities. It was so quiet though I was glad to see that they do provide ear plugs as well just in case. It’s a great little place and I’ll definitely be staying here if I come during the summer with my family. "

"This is the 2nd time we have stayed here. The first time we stayed upstairs, the unit was solid. We chose a bottom floor this time. The dog enjoyed looking outside, we did too. Tile in bathroom was loose, it made me uncomfortable."

"This is our go-to place every time we go to Ocean Shores. It's pet friendly they even have treats and bedding for the pets. Easy access to the outdoors when you have a dog. The staff is amazing and facilities are very clean."

"We had a pet friendly room. The floor was not particularly clean, but that is expected being a room with pets. The bathtub was pretty old, and the base was starting to peel. We found a few ants calling on the dresser and a few on our bed. The staff was great unfortunately the pool was closed and the vending machines had expired drinks and snacks. The walls were very thin as we can hear the neighbors very clearly. And our guest above us had a little one running back-and-forth, which vibrated the whole room. Overall, I rate this stay a 2.7 out of five, which I will round up to 3 stars."

"It seems clean but I did not see any cleaning staff except for 1 girl with some spray bottles and rags. The coffee in the room did not get restocked and no fresh towels. Not sure what the property fee was for. I don't plan on going back. "
