"A great little apartment in the heart of Avranches. Clean, quiet and well equipped, excellent Wi-Fi, comfortable bedding, a portable A/C in the living room. No A/C upstairs and it can get very hot.The apartment is on the first floor with stairs, and then the stairs to the kids bedroom are steep.Easy access by car from the A84 highway, free street parking at night and free unlimited parking at the church 1 block away. "Rare opportunity to stay on the Le Mt St Michel island. Wonderful old building with a lot of character AND nice updated restrooms. Excellent staff. Very clean and neat. Great breakfast with a lot of variety. Classic older building with no lift, only stairs. It was worth taking luggage up the stairs to enjoy the views."

"This was a nice personal chateau. Staff were exceptionally friendly. Bedroom was large and the bathroom was up to date. Minor negative's, no in room TV, but there is a very pleasant communal room on the ground floor. The top floor takes 55 steps to reach it, my fault for not doing full research. View is excellent, gardens are delightful, about 5 miles from Avaranches (great restaurants, pleasant town).Main dining room and lounge were excellently furnished, and in first class condition. We would recommend this establishment."
