"Undergoing renovations its one of the best hotels in the area but a lot off stores that are located in the hotel area don't work. The new owners also have a casino on site I visited the casino on a previous trip not this one mainly because of the way my check in went. I don't want to elaborate but this is not the way you gain customers it's the way you make them not spend their money and not come back. Maybe when the renovations are done I will rethink about staying there."

"Very nice and friendly smaller Hotel. Right between the Old Town and the Pedestrian and Roman areas. All within 5-10 minutes walk. You can drive before the hotel to drop luggage and it gets parked around the corner. Very clean, modern and friendly. Very helpful staff. Travel a lot - this was a positive highlight in hotels."

"Comfortable hotel in great central city location 20min walk from the South bus/train terminal. Breakfast very good. A bonus is the tour of the Roman bathhouse under the hotel, excavated when they renovated a few years ago. There are glass floors in the reception area that look down into it. Fabulous. We can recommend this hotel."

"Breakfast was amazing, such a great spread! Our stay in Plovdiv was for our 25th wedding anniversary which we told the hotel and asked if we could pay for wine in our room and they provided complimentary prosecco, fruit and local pastries which was so kind. Requested hypoallergenic bedding (due to allergy) prior to arrival which wasn't there in our room which was a shame but the front desk staff did their best to accommodate us at short notice and did very well! The staff were very nice and helpful. Old Town and main shopping streets 5min walk away. Great stay in a lovely city."

"Staff were lovely here especially the really kind lady on reception (unfortunately I never caught her name but she checked us in). The hotel offers large rooms and due to its central location it was very easy to get around the city’s tourist attractions. They have a free gym and pool for residents and a spa you can pay for - although the treatment wasn’t the best, it was affordable and as a resident we got a discount. Breakfast offered a nice selection too. But there are many cheaper local places to try for breakfast away from the hotel, but the convenience and selection of the hotel breakfast are worth it. I would definitely stay at the hotel again, all the staff were lovely and extremely helpful when we asked questions , I was originally really worried because we didn’t know a lot of Bulgarian but their English was super proficient (from in the casino, to reception, to the door men, housekeepers and breakfast staff)"
