"The cottage was perfect for our weekend in Marlinton. Check-in was flawless, the house was immaculately clean, and beautifully decorated. The kitchen was well equipped to prepare meals, and the living room was the perfect spot to nap, read or watch movies. Very comfy beds, plenty of hot water and plush towels, and a sweet sideporch to sip coffee while enjoying the glider."

"We absolutely loved our stay at this property near Marlington! The cabin is beautiful and still has that wonderful fresh, new-build feel. It was spotless, cozy, and such a peaceful place to relax.We had been a little concerned about staying during hot weather since there isn't air conditioning, but the ceiling fans kept the cabin surprisingly comfortable. It was only a little warm for a couple of hours in the evening, and the floor fan we brought made all the difference. If you're visiting during the hottest part of the summer, you may want to pack a fan just in case.Guests are asked to wash their own dishes before checking out. The previous guest had missed a frying pan and a couple of plates, but with the large sink it only took a minute to clean them, so it wasn't a big deal.One thing we really appreciated was how thoughtfully the cabin is stocked. During our stay, one member of our group misjudged a step and fell on her knee. We were so thankful to find both a first aid kit and a flashlight conveniently available. Those little touches really show that the owners care about their guests.The only other minor issue was that the yard hadn't been mowed because the lawnmower was being repaired. Since it was around 90F during our visit, we weren't spending much time outside anyway, so it didn't impact our stay.Overall, this is a wonderful cabin, and we wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. It's a beautiful, comfortable place to unwind, and we highly recommend it!"
