A great place to stay

We definitely had a pleasant stay at Villa Lavanda. The apartment was cosy, clean and up-to-date and there was enough space for all four of us. Above all, the owner of the place was a truly nice person and always willing to help if we needed something or had some questions. The location of the apartment was decent; nearest shops and beaches were within walking distance (although I would recommend to rent a car in any case). Furthermore, the view from the balcony over the sea and to the mountains was spectacular. To conclude, I would highly recommend Villa Lavanda if you consider staying in Podstrana area.

Good location and good price

Good flat with free parking. Good location close to the main street by car 2 minutes walking 10 minutes. Little bit up in the hill going down will be easy going up little bit need energy if you don't have car or old people with you. Close to the beach and super markets. Not far from split around 10-30 minutes depend on the traffic. The flat have everything you need. Close to Avere tour agency where you can have all tours from Podstrana highly recommend to try the quad and blue cave tours. One more bonus all beaches are free in the area even 5 stars hotels you can go for free just pay for the parking and seat if needed. Conlemani resturant was great near by in Le Maredian hotel good to have pizza was super good. The beacg was good also there. The beaches are all rock beach no sand beach so better to have good slipper or swimming shoes. Highly recommend the flat was very good for the family of 5 persons. I think it can accommodate 6-7 persons.

Vi var så heldige, at vi blev opgraderet til en superdejlig lejlighed, hvor alt bare var i orden. Fint veludstyret køkken, dejlige senge, lækker terrasse med fantastisk udsigt. Værten Zlatko fik os til at føle os meget velkomne. Kun roser herfra.

Härligt boende i fräsch lägenhet med fin utsikt.

Ett mycket bra boende! Lägenhet var fräsch, bekväm och verkade helt ny. Sängarna var mycket sköna. Vi hade en härlig balkong med vacker utsikt över hav och berg. Värden var mycket trevlig och hjälpsam. I köksavdelningen fanns allt vi behövde för att laga en måltid. Vi är supernöjda!

This Villa is fantastic. The owner is so helpful and went out of his way to make us feel welcome. The Villa is in a great position and the rooms are amazing. We stayed 2 weeks and wish we could stay longer. I would highly reccomend this Villa and would love to come back. It was very clean and presented to a very high standard. The views are stunning and staying at the Villa just made our holiday perfect. Great host, great place and an all round fantastic place to be.

Kind host. Hospitality is great! Clean appartment with sea view. Cleaning is done every few days and towels, for me that's a huge extra (because I didnt't expect it for that price). Near the sea & supermarkets and a very quiet area. I would recommend it for sure to everyone who wants to stay near the sea, but wants a quiet area to relax to the fullest.

The Villa was modern and comfortable with sufficient amenities. The views and beaches were spectacular. Although the beach and shops weren’t far away you had to be mindful of the hills when you were walking back. These were quite steep, so any elderly or disabled people would struggle.

An absolutely beautiful apartment, with nothing missing that we needed and a few extra things that we didn't! The kitchen is very well stocked, has a great selection of plates and utensils. It also has a washing machine, which was very helpful with a young family. The view from the balcony was stunning, leading to astonishing sunsets and views over Split and Podstrana every night we stayed. The small selection of restaurants within walking distance were an incredibly pleasant surprise, and negated the need for a longer walk or drive into Podstrana. Check-in was a bit hazy, as we couldn't quite locate the owner, but when we found him he was exceptionally helpful. He'd even left beer and fruit juice waiting for us in the fridge!

Très belle appartement moderne avec vue sur la mer et la ville de Split. à 20 minutes du port de Split. Deux chambres à coucher. Lit super confortable. Petite cuisine pratique et laveuse. Deux salles de bain. Stationnement inclus. La plage est à seulement quelques minutes à pied mais comme la villa est sur une colline, il est préférable d'y aller en voiture. Mini épicerie à quelques minutes. Bien situé et proprio très gentil. Je recommande cette endroit.

Fantástico

Todo fantástico..el dueño es encantador y sus departamentos increíbles...la vista hermosa... la playa muy agradable y todo cerca...hay buses( 2 ) el 60 tu Dálmata.. que tienen recorrido muy seguido y muy económico hacia Split..en 15 minutos estás en el casco antiguo...ahora, si no te gusta caminar...su vas a la playa, que está a 5 minutos a pie, el regreso da pega ya que está en subida, y a veces muy pronunciada...por lo demás, no es para nada un punto que pueda echar a perder la calidad del departamento y la calidez de su dueño..

A great place for peace & quiet

We had a a most enjoyable seven days at Villa Lavanda in Podstrana. The property is in a quiet location and our apartment was very well equipped and furnished with a lovely view to the sea. The owner Zlatko is charming and extremely helpful making us feel very welcome. A word of warning the property is up a very steep hill which for the unfit may prove to be a challenge especially in hot weather. That aside we would have no hesitation in recommending Villa Lavanda

The property manager was one of the most gracious, helpful and friendliest hosts I've ever encountered. The room was modern, and super clean. One of the best experiences in all of my travels. Very highly recommended!

This was the first time we had used an apartment rather than a hotel and we really enjoyed the experience. The owner, Zlatko, met us on arrival (at around 10pm), despite our flight arriving later than scheduled, and helped us settle in. As the nearest food store was 10 minutes walk away at the foot of a steep hill, he offered to come back the next day and drive us to the store so that we could stock up with food, etc. for our stay. At the end of our stay, our taxi to the airport was booked for 5pm and Zlatko allowed us to stay in the apartment till then, very helpful as it allowed us to shower and change after a very hot day before leaving for the airport. The apartment itself is modern, fully self contained with a large bed, shower, kitchen, table, satellite TV, internet and a west facing balcony with a beautiful view of the bay and the coast towards Split. The beach is accessible at the foot of the road leading to the apartment, a walk of about 10 minutes, and is a standard Croatian pebble beach. However, it is quite a steep road so, if you do not have a car, it can be a hard climb back up if you are not reasonably fit. Overall, we were very happy with the accommodation and would not hesitate to use it again.
