"The staff was friendly, breakfast was decent (there was no eggs, and there were waffle makers with syrup provided). The location is pretty quiet for being close to the main road from our room. It was sometimes hard to get into the room with our key. The remote was not working properly for tv use, and the wifi could be better."

"We had a wonderful stay! The property was beautiful—peacefully tucked away among the redwoods while still being in the perfect location. It was an easy drive to both the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk and Henry Cowell Redwoods State Park, making it the ideal home base for exploring the area.The check-in process was seamless, and the home was spotless, quiet, and very comfortable. We also really appreciated that the host was able to accommodate our semi last-minute booking. Communication was great throughout our stay.We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway with convenient access to everything the area has to offer!"

"This property worked extremely well for our family group of 8 adults, 5 kids under 5 (2 infants), and a couple dogs. Parking for our 5 vehicles was easy. Lots of space both inside and outside to hang and play. Having the yard so accessible and at the same level as the main living space was great. Totally fenced in large yard reduced any anxiety over wondering kids or dogs. Very well-equipped kitchen, with lots of workspace. The induction cooktop took some getting used to, but we got there. A second fridge in the (gigantic) garage helped immensely to store lots of drinks, etc. And so many "toys" things to play games with, ping-pong, beach stuff, way more than typical at a rental. So many amenities, though-out details, labeling of light switches, etc. was very helpful.Communication with Crystal was fantastic, we had several exchanges, she usually responded within minutes. A great host, who always seemed to want to make our time there as good as it could be.Hard to say when we might return to the area, but when we do, we found a great place to stay. This one will be at the top of our list."
