Great customer service!

The rooms were very clean and comfy. They were remodeling the first floor so the front desk made sure we were on the top floor away from noise, which I’m pretty sure my kids were loud as is…sorry. Great customer service as well!

Woke to a constantly barking dog, which I didn’t realize Hampton Inns were pet friendly, they didn’t use to be. Other than that, fabulous place!

Youngstown/Boardman area

Check in was quick. I was early so room was not quite ready. I enjoyed a cookie and coffee while I waited. Bed was comfortable with a great choice of pillows. Peeked at the pool but it didn't look inviting. Water was a little cloudy. Refrigerator in my room had previous occupants leftovers in it. Breakfast was great. Several choices,: juices, coffee, sausage, potatoes, omelette, breads, fruit, waffles and oatmeal.

Nice property, needs better soundproofing

Comfortable property right off the interstate with lots of shopping and restaurants nearby. Very friendly manager who sent texts asking how our stay was going which was great except for the loud group of people who showed up around midnight one night and left at 9am the next day. I think part of the problem was the very poor soundproofing on the doors. You could see light from the hallway pouring in around the edges and a conversation outside the door by housekeeping in a normal tone of voice was heard loud and clear. The second evening was MUCH quieter.

The communication was lacking. We didn't know they would not clean the room daily unless you asked. The cost was way too high for the accommodations. The coffee dispenser was empty, the breakfast was not replenished. The staff were not friendly.

What I wasn’t told is that the property was in the middle of renovations which is fine, however they were still drilling etc at 8pm above our room. I had to call the front desk to inquire and received the answer I’m not sure what the construction crew’s schedule is but will talk to the supervisor. Also when we walked in or near the front desk, the staff never greet you or even acknowledge you. Overflowing garbage out front didn’t give me the sense the staff cared or that I was at a Hilton connected hotel. I feel I overpaid.

I usually am very pleased with Hampton Inn but this one leaves a bit to be desired. Had to clean hair out of the bathroom drain as soon as I walked in, which you could clearly see. When I got a shower the water pressure was absolutely pathetic but I guess it worked out because the drain is so plugged that the tub filled with water before I was done. The rest of the room seemed to be very clean. Breakfast in the morning was a nice variety but it was very messy. The lady in charge didn’t care to wipe anything up that had been spilled or dropped on the counter. It was a mess. We will not be staying here next year for our tournament.
