"If you want to freeze, stay here. The Hotel is very nice, staff are ok, breakfast is good, location is excellent however, we purchased a room with a balcony and it was very nice. However, we were freezing….19.2 C. We called and asked if we could get a space heater or if they could increase the temperature to 21C. They said they would increase the temperature to 21C but after an hour it hadn’t increased. We called down twice and they. just hung up on us. In order to get warm we had to run the hair dryer and shower in order to get warm…..that’s crazy when you paying $350 per night for a room. Like I said if you want to freeze stay here!"

"We celebrated our wedding with a small group of close family and friends, and the experience exceeded all expectations. The villa was the perfect setting, beautifully designed to accommodate everyone comfortably while still allowing each group their own sense of privacy.The scenery was absolutely stunning, with breathtaking views that made the entire stay feel magical. The hosts were incredibly kind and welcoming, creating a warm and relaxed atmosphere from the moment we arrived.Our rehearsal dinner was a highlight, we enjoyed amazing pizza along with beer and wine, all prepared by a talented chef. There was a wide variety of toppings, and every guest found something they loved.Marie was instrumental in bringing everything together. She helped coordinate every detail, from flowers and catering to hair services and connecting us with a fantastic photographer. Her organization and support made the entire process seamless.This villa and everyone involved truly made our dream wedding come to life. Thank you for creating such a memorable and special experience for us."

"Over and above all this property was amazing! The host(s) and their family went out of their way to make us feel comfortable and informed. Although some if the photos for the listing were older (ie new exterior doors and windows) it was very much as described. The pool (which wasn’t due to open until the last days of our trip) was being replaced. I’m certain it will be amazing!The cleanliness of the house was very good, although we did notice a few cobwebs in a corner or two, and they could have done with some newer cooking utensils. The stove, which we had read in a previous review was malfunctioning, did not cause us any trouble. I would definitely recommend staying here again and I hope i get the opportunity to do so someday."

"This was a beautiful and peaceful 6 night respite in the middle of our 18 day trip to Italy. An old world feel with plenty of room for the 6 of us to spread out. The location provided easy access for day trips to Cinque Terre and Pisa and, of course, beautiful Lucca. We thoroughly enjoyed our mountain village tour with Giovanni. Monica's meals were some of the very best food that we had on our trip. So happy with our stay. (bring euros to pay for extras - meals/Giovanni tour. Also bring bath products and ground coffee. Internet is weak, they were attempting to fix it while we were there)"

"I liked the hotel, BUT the rooms have Nao A/C functioning (they have the AC units producing Error- E4, so it does not turn on) and it was not advised during booking and communications."

"The property was well maintained and full of all the necessities needed. The breakfast was served perfectly with delicious food. Self check in was easy and fast, it was a quiet, relaxing place. There is a swimming pool next to the hotel as well but didn’t get the chance to visit. Everything else was perfect and as expected."
