"Our family of 4 (with children aged 17 and 14) really enjoyed our five nights at Finca los Llanos. The setting is great, on the edge of town, so easy to get into Capileira, which is really pretty and has lots of nice places to eat. We loved being up in the mountains with great views all around. It is also the perfect base to take the national park bus up to hike to the summit of Mulhacen, which was one of the highlights of our stay. We enjoyed the outdoor spaces of the hotel, particularly the pool and pool bar, where the staff were always friendly and helpful. Rooms are fairly simple but nice especially as we wanted to spend most of our time outside anyway."

"The hotel is basic, but clean and good for one night. Air conditioning was functioning perfectly. Breakfast needs at least 1 gluten free option and the staff need training on gluten free requirements. The main issue with our stay was the swimming pool. Nowhere on the listing did it say the pool is open to the public. This meant the pool was extremely busy and it was impossible to find a sun lounger or even a space to sit."

Dream Designer Villa with Infinity Pool and Views to Die for

"Upon arrival, you are greeted with a fantastic view over the coast when you enter the property. If that is the most important thing for you, you have found the right place - truly an amazing outlook. The communications with the management company were good, and directions and access arrangements provided were easy to follow. The villa was easy to find and in a nice quiet residential location. Unfortunately, it was a shame that the kitchen wasn’t quite as clean as we’d expected and was small for the size of the property, and also very hot. The remainder of the property was clean and spacious. However, the bed in the main bedroom was hard, creaky, and not particularly comfortable. The information on the website says that there is air-conditioning in the villa, but this was only in the bedrooms. That worked very well but the remainder of the villa was very hot. The terrace area, although clearly swept clean, was probably in need of a pressure wash as the bottom of our feet became filthy each time we stepped out of the pool and onto the pool surround area. This possibly explains a ‘tide mark’ around pool and some discolouration of the pool floor and walls, as this dirt was probably finding its way into the pool. All in all, although it says in the advertisement that it is recently renovated, I’m not sure how recent it actually was. It felt a little tired and in need of some investment."
