The hotel location was perfect as far as distances between major cities. The staff were so helpful, courteous and friendly offering suggestions for sightseeing and eating. The rooms were very clean with plenty of space. The breakfast choices were excellent and they offered to make eggs any style if preferred. I highly recommend this hotel and will stay here again when I come back to Portugal

It all depends on the price

Last time I stayed here I loved it and customer service was excellent. But this time my room (first floor, above the kitchen) was too noisy in the day and too noisy at night (I could hear noises coming from above and below), so that may be an issue for those who want to sleep. Breakfast was definitely not as good as last time. Although I appreciate the non-milk options, which were plenty, given how wonderful breakfast was in other hotels I stayed this year, breakfast here lacked "love" and care. Things were not refilled immediately, so I had to ask for items more than once. Choices were very limited but definitely enough for a local. Service was good enough but not with the "love" I felt last time. I felt just like a nuisance number, rather than a welcome guest. The hotel was filled with contract workers, which happens often in Pombal hotels, so the whole atmosphere was very loud and very busy. I saw no tourists, only contract workers (maybe builders, or something similar). So in my opinion tourists were not treated as preciously as last time, because they are no longer the main type of guest. My room, at the back, was extremely small but enough for 1 person and definitely made nice by the lovely balcony. The rooms facing the road are larger but I chose the small one since I don't like the main road traffic, which in my opinion makes the balcony less pleasant. Beds are comfortable enough but the pillows were not, compared to other hotels. But VERY CLEAN overall.

Excellent hôtel bien placé à côté du centre ville place de parking devant l hôtel du coup nous avons tout fait à pied 20mn pour aller visiter le château! Les musées sont gratuits et super ! Le personnel est top et nous donne les bonnes adresses pour déjeuner et nous fournit plein d explication sur la ville je recommande si vous voulez visiter cette jolie ville

Great with some improvements needed

ALL GREAT except perhaps the bedroom doors should be fully soundproofed because I could hear every word of anybody walking in the corridor. The rooms are very close to the elevator so anybody shouting wakes us up. The TV channels did not work, they all had bad signal, but luckily I could watch youtube, although it was not the same. You need to check the TV signal for all channels.

Bonito hotel y atención excepcional

Solo he pasado una noche. Es un hotel pequeño pero muy bien cuidado y la amabilidad del personal es de 10. Me atendió Cristina y fue un encanto. Aunque no tienen carta para cenar, me prepararon una cena ligera excelente. Utilizan productos de cercanía de agricultores y ganaderos locales y la calidad del producto es excelente. Me ha encantado y espero volver en más ocasiones. El pueblo es bonito y el castillo iluminado por la noche es muy llamativo (foto)

Relación calidad-precio magnífica

Me ha encantado este hotel en cuanto a su relación calidad-precio. Puedes encontrar hoteles mejores o más baratos, pero que ofrezcan lo que ofrece este y al precio al que lo hace es muy difícil. Todo limpio y cuidado, buen servicio, personal amable. El desayuno es un buffet pequeño pero que ofrece todo lo necesario: fruta, huevos, jamón, queso, bollería, panes blancos e integrales, cereales, avena zumos, mermeladas e incluso mantequilla de cacahuete. Las camas son cómodas. hay facilidad para aparcar y se puede ir al centro del pueblo y estación de tren andando sin problema. Como aspecto a mejorar señalaría el de las almohadas, que no entiendo porqué son tan pequeñas en vez de cubrir toda la cama.
