Mica, the host, is such a nice, supportive and chatty person and will make you feel welcome right away. The whole lodge is very cute and all the rooms looked very unique and cozy. I booked a tiny low budget room, which was just what I needed.

Cute and quiet place in the middle of nature, with a small swimming pool and a natural vibe. The deluxe room is beautiful, confortable and with a laid back style - and you can watch the sunset from a bathtube. The employees were very attentionate, breakfast is well-served at any time you wish and they can arrange transportation and probably other things. As it is in the middle of the green, it is also a bit far from most restaurants and shops - walking anywhere takes 15 minutes (beach only 10) through sandy paths. But it is also why it is quiet and secluded. Wifi was very good though! Special mention to the monkey visitors :)

Worth it

A great experience in a well designed and well run place. Just one simple thing that can be done to make the experience even better: Move or create a sound-proof / sound-dampening box around the water pump. Currently the pump is situated directly outside the accommodation and when people use water, the pump turns on. If you are a light sleeper (like me) this can be disturbing. Other than that, a really great place, with warm and friendly staff, good wifi and delicious affordable food. About a 10-15 min walk from the centre of Ponta de Ouro, makes this place feel like a getaway while still feeling connected to the town. Thanks Mark and Mikash for an unforgettable experience. Hope to see you again!

Don't stay on a South African long weekend

Quite a distance from town but only a few minutes from the beach and easy to walk along the beach to town. Lovely location. Other guests almost spoiled it with their noise.
