"Absolutely amazing with every aspect"

"Breakfast wasn't good. Grits, Oatmeal, and overcooked turkey sausage patties. No bacon. Juice machine was empty and when asked they said they aren't filling it. No milk. The elevator didn't work so my pregnant wife had to use the stairs. The pool was freezing cold, filled with too many chemicals, and had a lot of trash in it touching my feet at the bottom. The place tries to be fancy but is more like a polished turd. No matter what you do to it it is still a turd. Maybe a good suggestion would be to aim toward business people or families, not both. It's almost like this place is trying to do too much as once and failing in all areas. We wouldn't even go in the pool a second time. We stayed 2 days at this place. The week prior we stayed at Holiday Inn Grand Rapids - South by IHG. Both hotels are 3 star rated. The Holiday Inn in Grand Rapids was far superior stay in all areas compared to this polished turd Embassy Suite Hilton. Lastly, I was charged $200 a day deposit. I have never had to do that. And for being such a bad hotel why would they charge a deposit anyway? This hotel is not good."

"Brand New hotel. Everything was clean and nice. Thermostat was motion based so if you wake up could you have to walk around to trigger it, kind of lame. Stayed 2 days, they didn't clean the room or make the bed. Would have liked the trashed removed."

"Pool was very cloudy and gross, kids decided they’d rather not use it. Two queen room was very small with what appeared to be full size beds. Tiniest fridge and no microwave. Glad I had rewards to redeem, would have been very upset to pay the $260/night rate for that room."

"The place looks nice, then you go into the room. The tiles are broke and there is alot of wear. The sink did not have a stopper so you can see the garbage disposal. Someone could get hurt if the rubber gasket is not put back on there. For the price it was a great find. "

"Pool was not clean. No towels at the pool. Staff was difficult to find to correct issues. Breakfast on Sunday ended at 9:30 but food was gone by 9:10. Won’t stay again. "
