"We stayed here for a week over Christmas as a group of three friends and had a really lovely time. The house is large, spacious and very comfortable, with plenty of room to relax without ever feeling on top of each other. It’s set in a quiet location, which made it especially peaceful over the holiday period.The kitchen was well equipped and ideal for preparing meals, and the beds were comfortable, making it easy to settle in for a longer stay. The heating worked well throughout the house, so everywhere felt cosy despite the winter weather.A particularly thoughtful and much-appreciated touch was the Christmas tree that had been put up and decorated for our arrival — it really added to the festive atmosphere and made the house feel welcoming from the moment we arrived. We also enjoyed the selection of books and games, which were perfect for relaxed evenings in.The house has lots of character as an older stone building with curved ceilings. With that in mind, there were a few cobwebs in places, which is understandable and didn’t detract from our enjoyment of the stay.Overall, it was a comfortable, well-equipped and welcoming place to stay, and we would happily recommend it."

"Very clean, beautiful 3 stories overall. No washcloths nor coffee but towels and 3 different coffee makers! Longest, best heated towel racks ever seen in all my travels. One for each bathroom. Grateful for washing machine. Nice separate drying rack too. Solid kitchen set up. Spent 3 nights over NYE and appreciated being remote enough as it was wonderfully quiet which was what we wanted. Terrific kitchen table for playing the card games we brought. Grazie for the great stay!"

Our host even secured reservations at several fantastic eateries—one in particular offered the most amazing food, and we’d never have gotten in without their local connections.The home itself is spacious and full of character. Large, comfortable bedrooms and a cozy kitchen with a charming color palette made us feel instantly at home. The expansive living room, furnished with antique Italian pieces and a grand dining table, was perfect for relaxing evenings. We loved selecting CDs from the host’s collection and playing music through the house sound system—it set the perfect mood.Multiple indoor and outdoor sitting areas offered ideal spots to unwind, whether for a morning coffee or a sunset wine. The attention to detail throughout was impressive: the delicate lace and long drapes on every window added a soft, elegant touch to each room.The bed was exceptionally comfortable, and every corner of the property felt carefully curated and inviting"
