"The room was quite large and the bed was comfortable. Bathroom was also fine the only issue was the complication in putting the heating on which is similar to other hotels. I had a meal which I enjoyed and the waitress staff were helpful, obliging and professional. "

We had to go through the dining area to find the lift which was maybe a bit strange. It is an old building though so it was perhaps down to this! I would most definitely stay here again. "Clean and tidy room which was heated to a comfortable temperature. Very friendly and helpful staff. My only complaint is the extortionate cost to park my car in the car park of the hotel I have paid to stay at. £18 is unbelievably expensive when we were only there from 6pm to 11:45am the following day. This will definitely influence my decision about where I stay next time I am up visiting relatives in the area"

"It’s been two years since I last stayed at the marine - the rooms are a little more tiered than I remember but the staff were top class! The guy who welcomed us in was super lovely and helpful when it came to us choosing dinner. The ‘posher’ restaurant menu is significantly better than the bar menu. I did order a pasta dish and the pasta was not what was described on the menu it was fusilli pasta which was giving kids dinner - would have been nice for them to mention, although I was hungry. Not really a complaint as it was lovely. "
