"This was unfortunately one of the worst experiences. I should have did better research on this place. I did book this place by mistake. however, we decided to try it anyway. Everything posted online was very misleading. The room we got smelled so bad as if there was water damage. Who ever stood there last you can smell they were smokers. This place is outdated and needs to be better maintained. We felt very uneasy there. I have to for credit to the manager for at lease hearing me out and doing the right thing by giving us our money back. So thank you for being kind and understanding. That being said I will never stay at that place or any place like that again. The place has great potential just needs to do some major upgrades. Carpet smelled, bed smelled. The couch I felt I was going to catch something from sitting on it. I hate to be negative but that was our experience. I hope the top reads this and does some better managing. Help your employees and set a better standard."

"The room is very dirty. As soon as you walk inside, there is a strong, unpleasant smell coming from the carpet, and the odor fills the whole space. The bed sheets are also extremely dirty, which makes the room feel unhygienic and uncomfortable. This condition is not acceptable, and it needs immediate attention."

"I would have rated this hotel much higher; however, our experience with front desk staff on June 16 significantly impacted our stay. We had a reservation through Orbitz for three rooms under a single booking. At approximately 7:30 a.m., we arrived and requested early check-in, asking if any rooms were available. The front desk employee told us that no rooms were open. Shortly after, I sent one of my students back to check again, and he was told that two of our rooms were in fact available—but he was charged a $50 fee to access one of them. This was inconsistent with the initial response and not clearly explained. Later that same day, at approximately 11:00 p.m., we returned to check into the remaining room from the same Orbitz reservation. The front desk employee on duty stated that the room was a separate reservation and required an additional service fee. I showed him my Orbitz confirmation indicating that all three rooms were part of one reservation, but he refused to acknowledge this and insisted on the charge. When I questioned the fee, his demeanor became confrontational, and he indicated that he could refuse to rent the room to us. Overall, the interaction was unprofessional and left me feeling disrespected as a guest. I was traveling with two high school students on an educational field trip from Oregon to visit NASA, and we expected a much higher level of professionalism and clarity. I hope management will review these incidents and address both the inconsistency"

"Another pleasant stay"

"I was disappointed as usually Hamptons are decent hotels. Breakfast was chaotic, out of stock of most everything, including plates. Staff were not necessarily rude, but not real friendly or really involved in their job. Gym was decent. Pool was much smaller than appears in photos. Our rooms shampoo, conditioners were empty. Had to pay for parking and wifi. Should've just stuck with the Holiday Inn 2 miles away (was way better!)"
