Designer Owned House on Vibrant Williams Avenue near Mississippi

After styling and art directing photo shoots for Rejuvenation Lighting and House Parts, finally being able to dial our own place was like playing in a sandbox. Joyfully styled bedrooms include queen, queen-sized sleeper in living room, and twin hide-a-bed in the study (that can be made into a queen). The kitchen is fully appointed with All-Clad, gas range, Cuisinart, blender and microwave. And, should you decide you don't feel like walking across the street for a cappuccino, we have both drip and Italian Biglietto coffeemakers. Then sip on the back deck in a quiet backyard. We love the art we have collected over the years and left much of it in the house for you to enjoy during your stay.

NEW CLEANING PROTOCOLS:
We are committed to the health and safety of you and your family. Toward that end, we share our cleaning protocols for your review. They were prepared by the Center for Disease Control.

When you arrive, you will find a check-list filled out by our cleaning team and reviewed by us. Please let us know if you see anything out of order. We will address it immediately.

There is a 52' HDTV, Wifi, Broadband, and Aperion home theater system.

Our house is registered with the City of Portland as an Accessory Short-Term Rental.

Our ASTR Permit number is 15-185134-000-00-HO.

Great local location

It was nice to be in a local community of Portland - within walking distance there were some shops, breweries, coffee shops, and street parking. It was a relatively quiet neighborhood and less than 10 minutes to drive to all that downtown Portland has to offer.

Lovely stay!

Family of four adults fit perfectly in the space. A fully set up, comfortable home with needed amenities provided. Wonderful location on N Williams next to a wishing tree house with a pop up artist selling their wares over the weekend. Thank you!

Cute house in great neighborhood

Nice updated house on a slightly busy street but very convenient to lots of restaurants, coffee shops ands bars. Much quieter area than other popular parts of Portland. Nice kitchen, living area and bedrooms.

Perfect Spot in Portland

A group of friends met up in Portland to attend the Grizzlies vs Trailblazers! The neighborhood was clean and safe, parking was easy, and close to good restaurants and a short uber to most places we wanted to visit. The house itself had everything we needed and the rooms were spacious! Would stay here again!!

Great location

We were visiting our daughter who lives nearby. The location was great with several restaurants and coffee shops nearby. There was also a small market a few blocks away. We had our small dog with us and the walkability of the neighborhood as well as the yard were perfect! We enjoyed sitting on the front porch in the evening - great people watching. The kitchen was very well stocked.

Perfect Stay every time

Located in a fun area of Portland, this home has so much that keeps us coming back (six times?)—Original art, comfortable furnishings, fully-equipped kitchen, and spacious yard. Step out your front door and walk to dining and libation. Hosts can point you in the right direction, to all the area has to offer.

Lovely place in a good neighborhood.

We really enjoyed our stay at Don's place. Very nicely appointed, and it was great to have the washer/dryer available. Nice big kitchen table, which was appreciated not only for meals, but the many board games we play. Comfortable beds. Our only suggestion is it would be safer to have some sort of rail on the stairs going upstairs to the bedrooms; that turn around the corner was difficult for us seniors without one.

The neighbourhood gets better and better, and so does the value.

Returned to this house for our annual Holiday Ale Festival trip and despite how great the area was last year, it's even better this year. Don is a great host and is there if you need anything from him, we didn't take much more than a dinner recommendation but that recommendation was spot on. When looking around Portland for a 3 bedroom house in a good area with lots to do and easy access to downtown I just don't see a better value anywhere. Great house, very comfortable and well supplied. Love all the transit options and the many restaurants and taphouses.

Great House Great Location

This is house is so nice. I loved the décor, the books, the bed, the neighborhood. It should be noted the parking on the street in front of this home is 2 hours only 24 hours a day. When we first arrived on a Tuesday around 4PM we had to park three blocks away. The second time we had to park 1 block away mid day. Rest of time we decided to take Ubers. Maybe not great for some people. I think this is a house that at one time was easy to find parking, but now with so many great places close by it's difficult. Once you get used to that, it's perfect.

Definitely home away from home!

Nestled in the heart of NE Williams this home is perfect for a couple or a couple of couples! Front porch to watch the world go by and back porch and large yard for privacy. This is a repeat stay for my husband and me. We love the art work, the whimsy of decor, and the plentiful linens. Our visiting family feels at home here, too. The kitchen is well-equipped and New Seasons grocery is three blocks away. If you don’t feel like cooking, there are 7 restaurants just steps from your door. Walking to Mississippi Ave, with even more shopping, eating and drinking, is 15 blocks. On-street parking is sometimes a challenge, but a space can be found within a block. Public transit is exceptional and easy to use. Owners are easy to contact should you have questions about your rental.

Charming Craftsman

My husband and I come to PDX (almost) every Memorial Day weekend from Seattle to brewery hop. This year we brought 3 friends along, so we wanted a house for all of us. We got into town a little early and were still able to get into the property and unload our things before we headed out for the day. There is no designated parking, but there was lots of street parking available a block away. Beds and bedding were very comfortable. They even had fans available which was great, because it is a little warm on the top floor. Dressers and closets available for things.The downstairs "room" didnt feel like a room, because it didn't actually have a bed, it had a couch/chaise. Luckily, there were sheets and bedding available to make it a functional room. My friend said it was very comfortable, so it worked. We didn't cook or eat at the property, but the kitchen was well appointed with anything you would need. We all enjoyed the back patio and the eat in kitchen (where we sat and played cards). If we come as a group again, we will definitely stay here! It was clean, comfortable & charming!

The house was just as described—and in a terrific location where you can walk to terrific food places, including a fabulous bakery across the street. The kitchen is incredibly well supplied with everything you will need. And we never had trouble finding street parking right in front of the house. What a wonderful home to spend the weekend in! Our family stayed there for a basketball tournament so we were busy most of the time, but the house was a welcome reprieve during the busy days. It is beautiful, welcoming, and full of character. Plenty of space for all seven of us. Don & Nicole were easy to get in touch with and checked on us throughout our visit. 10 stars would recommend!!
