"This property was a throwback today's gone by, but in a very charming way. The staff was wonderful, the armory lounge was terrific, and we liked our room. Because of the age of the hotel, there is no room to expand the bathroom. That being said, the shower was comfortable as were the other facilities. The location was fantastic. We would highly recommend this property."

"Convenient and walkable to downtown. One workable elevator made it challenging and a line waiting to go up/down during breakfast hours. Valet service prompt and polite. Breakfast area clean and typical items, nothing over the top."

"Really good option for a one night stay on a budget. Staff is very friendly. The hotel used to be a Holiday Inn so it has the normal amenities such as indoor and outdoor pool. Tons of meeting space. Was upgraded to a room with the fireplace, which was really nice."

"The hotel was clean and comfortable. It's in a great location for sightseeing in Portland and all of the staff we encountered were friendly and helpful. We loved the little things like the flavored seltzers and snacks by the elevators on our floor. We didn't eat in the restaurant, but had a drink and sat by the beautiful gas firepit. There was live music that night which was great. All around a great stay."

"Floors generally not as clean as they could have been. Small trash and recycle cans in the room, but nowhere to be found near the elevator or lobby. Except some small cans in the snack room next to the front desk. The employees were the best part of the stay. Checking in on us by text periodically to see if we needed anything."
