Déçue de la prestation

L'appartement se trouve au Rez-de-chaussée, a proximité de la pirte d'entrée, qui claque a chaque passage, claquemdnt tres sonire et vibrant dans tout L'appartement. De plus, il est sombre, froid et un peu humide, pas d'extérieur terrasse commd il l'etait pourtant précisé dans lq presentation. Points positifs, rien a dire sur la propreté et sa localisation, juste en face d'une station de metro. Je ne doute pas que les autres appartements de cet immeuble soient tres appréciables, mais celui-là ne devrait pas etre loué

We were disappointed by the overall condition of the appartment in light of the great reviews on Expedia. I am sure it was covid clean but the appartment smelt very strongly of fish and whilst we were offered a room spray what was really needed was forbthe fridge to be properly cleaned and defrosted which we did ourselves. One or two othe small matters neede attention...the bedside lamp was broken and neede a new bulb and the cleing fan was damaged and had no bulb. Small issues overall but disappointing that the management left them unattended.

Cuando llegamos tuvimos que esperar porque la habitación no estaba lista. Algunas cositas en el apartamento necesitaban un mejor mantenimiento. Llegamos un lunes y nos marchamos un sábado y se les olvidó venir a limpiar. El vierrnes nos dejaron en la puerta unas toallas limpias, lo cual agradecimos. Para acabar, nos dijeron que no había parking sin pagar en la calle pero encontramos uno a unas manzanas, en la calle Lima.

It’s a converted house done with charm, practicality & a variety of floor plans. Marquês Square is just outside the most popular Porto areas, but this means it’s quieter and has local atmosphere. The apartments are right opposite the Metro entrance, for excellent connections.There’s also a taxi rank, and good local restaurants & shops. The management & organisation are efficient and pleasant.

Fantastic Stay

Just spent 5 nights here. Hired the 2 bed 2 bathroom garden apartment. Had a fantastic stay. The host Alexandra was super friendly ☺️ The apartment itself is situated in a lovely little square. The metro is literally outside however we chose to walk the majority of the time. It takes approx 30 minutes to reach the harbour however you reach the first set of shops in 15/20 minutes. We did however take the metro to Matosinhos beach. The apartment itself was huge. It could do with a little bit of TLC in a few places and would benefit from a full size ironing board however other than that it was perfect. The garden was fab and a total sun trap! Alexandra organised our taxi transfers and offered locked luggage storage for our last day. There wasn’t an oven, just a hob however it didn’t matter as we ate out every day. The cafe next day offered great breakfasts plus there are several cafes/bakeries just a few doors down.

Excellent place if travelling with a toddler

Excellent place to stay. Our apartment was perfect, spacious, light and had everything we needed. It was a great space for us and our toddler. The location is great. We liked being slightly out of the centre, though it's only 3 stops on the metro.

La verdad que acertamos de pleno . El apartamento es perfecto, limpio y bonito Y con todo lo necesario.En zona tranquila Y Justo a lado de una boca de metro. No tuvimos contacto en ningún momento con e personal ya que lo hicimos todo por teléfono y al llave de el apartamento ella Conseguimos en una cajita con clave que nos facilitaron. Una pega ... que la Lavadora fugaba agua.

Spotless modern apartment in an old building. A lot of stairs but worth it for the views from the outside terrace where I spent some wonderful evenings. The manageress Alexandra is charming and helpful. One problem with a piece of furniture was dealt with same day. Good electric heater in the bedroom which was helpful in February when nights can still be cold in Porto.

I loved the location even though it was about 35 minutes walk to historic centre. It was across a square and metro was there. The area was charming and lively. The apartment was spacious, clean but couch was very poor and difficult to sit on... passed its day.
